Chapter II: A Chance

Enriquez P.O.V
It was time for my training. Me and Liza went to the 53rd Assistant Secretary Training(I made it up.... Is it true?) and they teaches us assistant secretaries to how to improve their companies. After the training, Ms. Fatima Reid asked me, "What happened at the seminar? Did you learn some new skills there?" "Yes, mam. I learned new skills to improve our company like...(I'll stop from there I don't know some skills. So sorry)" I answered. "Great!! Tomorrow you will be assigned as secretary-for-the-day. I will tell Ms. Liza Zayn that she will have a day-off," Ms. Fatima said. I was shocked to what she said and I replied, "Thanks, mam!!! Thank you for that wonderful opportunity!!" "Your welcome!! I will just tell it to Ms. Liza," she said and went to find Liza.
Liza P.O.V
I was just working with my job suddenly our boss told me, "Ms. Liza, you will take a day off. Mr. Enriquez will have a chance to be a secretary-for-the-day. Let's see if he will has what it takes to be a secretary one day," I was shocked that I will have a day off. "Why Ms. Fatima? He should be a secretary-for-the-day on another day, not today." I said, "Why Ms. Liza? Do you have any reason to not make Mr. Enriquez secretary-for-the-day?" She asked. I don't know what to say!! I was tingling and didn't know what to answer!!
Enriquez P.O.V
I was walking at the hallway that I saw Liza was speaking to Ms. Fatima. I saw her but she was tingling and her words are always cutting."Umm....mam...you see.....umm...." she said tingling. Then Ms. Fatima said, "If you don't have any reasons, then Mr. Enriquez will be the secretary-for-the-day."
Liza P.O.V
I was shocked that I had no reason to tell that Enriquez shouldn't be the secretary-for-the-day. I was dismayed then Ms. Fatima went back to her office. I didn't know that Enriquez was hearing our conversation. When I saw him, he ran and I ran after him. When it was a dead end, I asked Enriquez,"Do you heard my conversation with Ms. Fatima?" "Um...No!!! Um... not the whole thing but...." he said. "What did you heard about the conversation?" I asked again. "I only heard is if you had a reason to not make me the secretary-for-the-day. Wait a minute!! Why do you want to not make me secretary for the day?!" he grunt. "Um...you see....I....." I said nervously. "TELL ME!!!" He shouted at me. "It's because.....I DON'T WANT YOU TO BECOME THE SECRETARY-FOR-THE-DAY!!!!" I answered loudly.
Enriquez P.O.V
I was shocked and asked her loudly, "Why?! Why don't you want me to become the secretary-for-the-day?! It's only for today!!" "I don't want to because you don't have what it takes to be a secretary one day," she said. I was disappointed at her and told, "Fine!! Don't believe at me!! I will prove to you that I have what it takes to be a secretary one day!!" And I left her. I will prove her that I can be a great secretary one day.
