Chapter VIII: Proposal

Liza P.O.V
"What are we doing here?" I asked him, "You'll see......" He said. Then the lights went off. I was scared and tried to grab Enriquez but he was not there. The lights went off like a minute. Then the lights went on again. Then I looked around. I saw my classmates, best friends, and surprisingly my mother. I also saw beautiful flowers and heart-shaped balloons. Then I saw in front the only man I love, Enriquez. Enriquez said some words, "Liza, you are the one that I have loved. I was shy to tell you my feelings for you because I know you don't like me. Yes. You don't like me, you love me. I hope our relationship would last until we aged. I hope that we have kids that'll love us and we loved them. Liza....." then Enriquez kneeled on me and said, "I love you from the bottom of my heart. I hope you answer my question right. Liza, would you marry me?" I started to cry hard because of his question. I don't think what I answer, I just answered yes then Enriquez stood up and I hugged him. "I love you too, my fiancé" I replied. My mom ran after me crying more than me, "Congratulations, daughter!! You one more person to love, your fiancé," she said. My best friends also clapped with joy. After a week or so, Enriquez and I lived at my house. Enriquez helped my mom cook breakfast. After we ate lunch, we went to work and our boss congratulated us, "Congratulations you two!!! I hope your bond will stay strong and stand strong," with a smile on her face. We thanked her and we started our work. Saturday, we went on a private club. It was just me, Enriquez, my old classmates, our officemates, and Enriquez's old classmates. We danced on the dance floor. Our other guests are tired because the dance was tiring. Then the music turned romantic, Enriquez asked me, "Would you kind lady, take a dance with me?" "Yes! Fine gentleman," I answered. We danced long on the dance floor, my head was tired so I placed it on Enriquez's chest and he placed his chin on my head. "Enriquez, I'm gonna drink at the table, would you join me?" I asked. He nods. We drink in the table and we drank 2 shots, which turned into 5-7. I was so drunk. Enriquez slept because he was so drunk. A man came near me and asked, "Hello!! What's your name?" "HEy mAn I hAvE A FiANcé!!" I said. "I just want to give you a drink. What's your name again?" He asked me. "ThANkS MaN!! OHhH!! MY NamE Is LIza!!" I answered. He was whispering something but I don't know what it is. I drink it then I fell asleep. I was nowhere.
Enriquez P.O.V
Huh?? What happened?? I must have passed out from those drinks. Huh??!! Where's Liza!!! I run to her best friend that was asleep and I said, "Hey!!! Wake up!!! Where's Liza!!" "I don't know!!" She said. I need to find Liza!! Maybe there's something in the news. I turned on the T.V and saw some boring news. Then, "BREAKING NEWS!! Marcus Young escaped from jail and the police will try to find him. He was objected with the case of rape because he kills all his girlfriends. His last girlfriend, Liza Zayn, was lucky that she escaped Marcus and that is where she cased Marcus with the case of rape. Marcus's whereabouts are still unknown," I was shocked to that news that I felt like an ice. Her best friend ran at me and said, "Have you found any clues?" "UM..... Yes. I. saw somethin'....... Marcus Young???" I said. "What!!! Marcus is the worst man alive!!! He acts nice but at the end, he's crazy!! Maybe he kidnap Liza!!!" She shouted. I had a cold-feeling and her best friend called the police. Her best friend and I joined the investigation, a policeman said, "This cup is a drink but it contains high alcohol percentage. If this cup has Liza's DNA, then we can suspect that Marcus Young kidnapped her. Then I said, "Officer, I may have a guess where Liza is. Maybe in her's ex's house??" Then me, her best friend, and the police crew went to Marcus's house. It was abandoned. "Lets go, Sasha," I said to her best friend. She nod. I'm coming for you, Liza.
