Chapter 4: A New Perspective

When I got back to my flat, both Maecy and Eli were freaking out about where I had been for the past 4 hours. Eli and Maecy had both started screaming,"WheRE HAVE YOU BEEN WE THOUGHT YOU HAD GOTTEN KIDNAPPED YOU BETTER START EXPLAINING!" Wow. These people are so over dramatic. Just to please them though, I started to explain."So I had gone to Nicks flat to get my wallet and he had invited me inside. Then it had started to rain and he wouldn't let me out. So he offered to watch a movie and turns out we have a lot in common. Once it had stopped raining, I headed back. Good enough explanation for you?"

Apparently, it was okay. After explaining myself, they just nodded and went back to their own business. What a mood swing.

Seeing that it was already dark outside, and there was nothing else to do in the flat, I went to bed. It was a good day. Well, most of the day.

When I woke up, I was strangely happy and loopy. I guess I was just happy I had made my first friend in London. I always got exited when I made a new friend, because it didn't happen that often. Back home, I only had 7 or 8 friends, and I had lost my best friend due to...health issues, is one way of putting it. I finally had another friend besides my two roommates, and even they thought that I need more variety.

Also, everything just seemed happier or brighter. The trees and grass were now a happier, vibrant shade of green, the birds chirps were more beautiful, it was just a good day for me. I realized that I must've been acting weird when I saw Eli and Maecy staring at me like a person had escaped from a mental ward and broke into their flat.

"Sorry guys, I guess I'm just happy I made a friend by myself without help from my other friends."

Maecy replied, "Oh, it's okay, I know you're not the outgoing kind. Besides, its fun watching you be like this." Eli nodded her head in agreement.

The rest of the day went by quickly, with there being nothing to entertain myself with considering I moved in a month ago and I'm to lazy to unpack my stuff. The next day was the same. And the next. And the next. I was super close at getting back into a loop of boring days, and I wasn't about to let that happen. I opened up my phone and found Nicks contact and texted him if he wanted to come over. Five minutes later, he had texted back sure, obviously he doesn't pay much attention to his phone.

When he came over, I started to feel happier instantly. I don't know why, but he's just one of those people you feel like you can trust. Nah, I think he's just a nice guy. People always seemed that way to me. Strange, because people never earn my trust that easily.

When I closed the door, Nick was already looking around the apartment, and said, "Wow, your flat looks exactly like mine, well besides all the girly decorations." Well he was right, even though I'm the most like a boy around here, Eli and Maecy are pretty girly.

"Yeah, are you sure you're not stalking me?" I chuckled. Then he just chuckled back. I had a feeling we could become actually become proper friends. That would be nice, to have a proper friend again. I mean, my flat mates are really nice but I think the only reason why I met them is because they were my assigned flat mates.

I was just about finished thinking when I heard some muffled words "So do you want to play something? Your video game collection is awesome!" I had a feeling it was going to be a good day.

Hey, so finally an update on this story! I keep on thinking of Panic! At the Disco because of the chapter title...Sorry for takin so long, I was busy being a little to obsessed with doctor who, like I haven't even uploaded anything to my channel, or post in my Instagram, basically, name anything that I usually do.
