|Taylor's P.O.V.|

"Hey Meg you home?" I shout from the front door. When I get no reply it tells me she isnt home which is perfect. Just to be sure I check all of the rooms anyways. Since no one was home I decided to set up for something special. 

I set a trail of rose pedals leading from the front door to the backdoor. I continued to leave a trail until I reached the willow tree. I went back inside to grab the rest of the stuff. I got a blanket and put it on the ground where the rose trail stopped. I put a bouquet of roses on the blanket and a basket with sandwiches some wine and her ring. I put some candles inside on the counters and stands that the rose pedals went by. I played some soft romantic music and waited.

Now I waited for her to get home and I set up a camera to capture her reaction.

20 Minutes Later

|Meghan's P.O.V.|

"Taylor I'm home" I said walking in. 

I set my bags down and noticed a trail of rose pedals leading outback. I followed the trail all the way outside where I saw Taylor standing there holding a bouquet of roses.

Meg finally gets home and when she walks out she looks so beautiful and her reaction was the cutest. 

"Hey Meg" I said handing her the roses.

"What is all of this?" She asked in awe. 

"Just something for my girl" I said. "It's beautiful" she said. 

We ate our sandwiches and drank some wine. When we were done that was when it was time. Time to ask her the big question. 

"Meghan I have never been so lucky to find someone so beautiful and sweet and amazing as you" I said. At this point were standing up. I had already had the ring in my pocket and was ready to open it. "Your're seriously one of a kind and I don't think I could or would find someone like you. I love you Meg" I said. "I love you to" She said. Her mom came home and was watching from the backdoor. I had gotten on one knee and got the ring out.

"Meghan Davidson, Will you marry me?" I said. 

"Yes" she said excited while crying of joy. I put the ring on and it fit perfectly. Her mom started clapping. Meg had gone over to show her mom the ring and was hugging her. Laura had come over to me and hugged me. "I'm so happy my daughter found someone as kind as you. There's no one else I would want her to be with" Laura said. 

We all went inside and talked, took pictures, told our friends and family that lived out of state, watched tv, and then went to bed. Today was the best day of my life.
