Time skip by a year
|Meghan's P.O.V.|
It's 3am and I can't sleep. I'm tossing and turning thinking something it wrong with me when I remember, tonight is a full moon. I know whats gonna come so I leave the room incase I try to hurt Taylor. Almost instantly I change. My eyes are a gold yellow, my teeth like a dogs, my ears and tail appear. I then become the wolf I know I am. I run out in the woods and howl at the brightly lit moon. I hear howls back so I follow them. I come upon a pack of wolves, one of them is more familiar than the rest. Mom. I run up to her snuggling my head into her neck. All throughout the night I am running side by side with my mom until the sun comes up and we change back into our normal selves. I give my mom a big hug. "I'll see you at my wedding" I say still hugging her.
When I get home I crawl back into bed to get some sleep before my wedding. As I sleep I eventually see Collin. I relax waiting to be taken back to Midnight Valley and sure enough it happens.
"Hello again, Megan" Collin said clearly happy to see me. "Hello Collin, it's been a while, anything new?" I ask. "Pretty much nothing has changed since your last visit, but a lot has changed for you." He sat on a bench and patted the spot next to him. "Yea it definitely has" I said sitting down.
"This place seems different" I said looking around. "It is, most of the wolves have grown up, like you, and forgot this place and there true self" he paused looking down. "This place runs on the energy the wolves give off, our wolf ancestors harnessed the spirit of the wolf and created Midnight Valley, a safe haven for wolves, any wolf could come here mentally and spiritually but their physical form stayed wherever they were at, but nothing could harm them physically if they were here" he said. "Nowadays almost 65% of wolves have grown up and chose to forget about this place, each year that percentage goes up by two, that's why I need you Megan, I need you, your children, your grand children to not forget this place, if you can do that it should save this place" he said.
"I thought you had to be chosen, you had to be lucky to get picked to become a lucky one" I said confused.
"Oh yes you do, but out of your children or grandchildren there has to be a least one lucky one."
"So if there is then this place could potentially be saved from falling apart?"
"Yes, it would save me too."
"But I thought you were a wolf that could leave like me." I was confused by his words.
"I used to be, now I've been stuck in Midnight Valley for almost five years" he said looking down.
"Five years!" I yelled.
"Yea, I came here when I was being attacked by humans, they moved my body somewhere and because I don't know where it is, I can't leave."
"Well, I will do everything I can to find you" I said looking him in the eyes.
"Really? You'd do that?" he asked shocked. "Of course, what are friends for, but first let me get married." I gave him a hug and left Midnight Valley.
I woke up around 10 a.m. to the smell of eggs, bacon, and pancakes. I went into the kitchen to see Taylor cooking. "Good morning my soon to be wife." He gave me a kiss on the forehead before handing me a plate of food. "I made you breakfast." "It smells so good" I said sitting down at the table. We decided to have our wedding at sunset because of how pretty it would be.
"So I saw Collin again" I said shoving pancakes in my mouth. "Really? It's been a while since your last visit there" he sounded surprised. "I know." I explained to him everything that Collin and I talked about. After that we cleaned up breakfast and relaxed until it was time to get married.
