I want to be deep

deep as the deepest oceans

so people would have to dive in

for them to grasp the meaning behind the words

pouring out from my lips

so people who couldn't swim

would be too terrified

to even touch the surface

thinking who knew what's in there

and the people who are willing

to take the risk of reaching my depth

would swim dauntlessly

just to attain the deepest part of my sea

you will have to hold your breath

as long as you can

and fight the pain

when your arms grow weary

because maybe

that's all I wish for

I want to be something you loses sleep about

something you work hard for

I want to be worth it
