Chapater 18 - The New Job

*Kian's POV*

I unlock my phone and check the message.

Jero - 5:57 pm
Hey Kian, just letting you know you will have your own office so I need you to send a photo of the type of office your want. Thanks, see you tomorrow.

Kian - 6:00 pm
Hey Jero, that's ok.  I'll send one in as soon as I can.

I send the text and head into my living room. I turn on the tv, putting a show on and grab my laptop. I look up some plans and then send it to Jero.

Kian - 7:01 pm

I send the text and he replies ok.
I shut off my laptop and go into the kitchen. I grab a tin of macaroni and heat it up in the microwave. I pour it into the bowl and start eating as I watch my show.

Around twenty minutes later all the boys came back and had there dinner. I went upstairs and got my work clothes out ready on my chair. I put out a pair of denim jeans, a peach shirt and a navy blue tie.
I lay it all on my chair and go into the bathroom. I get into my pyjamas, brush my teeth and that sort of stuff and get into my bed. I play on my phone for a while and then fall asleep.

*Ally's POV - 5:00pm*

I get back to my house and go up to my room. I place the last box in my room and head back downstairs to everyone one else.
"Hey Ally" Dad says and I wave to him.
I have a seat next to Jess and Jake and listen into there conversation (I probably shouldn't but I'm nosey) which only I could hear.
"When are we telling them all" Jake asks Jess.
"Not now we just moved it's to much" She says and turns back to the group. What do they mean?

"Jess talk. Now please" I say and grab her hand. I drag her into the kitchen and Jake gives her an alarmed look.
"What are you not telling me." I say.
"Nothing?" She says and backs away.
I hold her arm and pull her back in.
"Ugh fine, Jake and I are... going out" She says and I squeal.
I try to walk out but she drags me back.
"No, you can't let anyone know" She threatens and I sigh.
"Fine" I say and we go back into the living room.
"What was that about" Jc asks and I'm guessing Jake knows I know because he gives me a warning look.
"Nothin, just girl stuff" I say and Jake lets out a breath.
"I'm going upstairs, bye guys"  I say and wave everyone goodbye.
I go up to my room and then go to my secret room. I read my
book for a while, then there's a knock on my door. I quickly get out the secret room and open the door. I see Jake standing there.
"Hey" I say.
"Hey, I just came to say thanks for not saying anything." He says.
"No problem." I say and hug him. He goes back into his room and I go over to Jess's Room.
*knock knock*
"Come in" She falls through the door.
"Heyy, I was wondering if you could come help at the bakery tomorrow. We running low because two people have called of sick so please??" I beg her. She turns to me on her chair and makes a weird face.
"I'll pay you, £6 an hour please. Plus it's payday tomorrow and I need help with that too" I plead.
"Ok what time are we going." She asks caving in.
"I'm going in at eight but you can come in at nine if you want." I say sitting on her bed.
"I'll come in at nine, but only if you award me with McDonald's" She laughs.
"Fine, thank you thank you thank youuuuuuuuuuu" I say and attack her.
I leave her room, go downstairs and start dinner.
I grab the stir-fry stuff and start making it. After it was finished o dishes it up and shouted the guys down.
"Thank you" Jake says swiping his and sitting in the living room. Me and Jess grab our bowls and join Jake.
"Film?" He asks turning on the tv.
"Yeah sure, what about grown ups 2" I say and they agree.
We eat our dinner and watch the film.
After the film we decide just to go to bed because me and Jess are up early.
I go upstairs, do the toilet, brush my teeth, get changed and then get into bed.

*Shawn's POV*

*knock knock*
"Yeah?" I say to who Evers at the door.
"Hey it's Kian in the phone" Zach says and hand me the phone.
"Thanks bud" O say and ruffle his hair. He slaps my hand away and runs out the room. I laugh and put the phone up to my ear.
"Hey what's up?" I ask Kian.
"Hey, I was wondering if you'd like to come back to Cali, and surprise Ally" He says to me.
"Why would you think I'd do that?" I ask kinda nervously.
"Look I know you still love her and she isn't the same without you. She's moved houses to (address) I'll get you and Zach and who Ever is coming with you just please. I hate seeing her like this" He says seriously.
"Ok mail me the tickets, I'll need two" I say and thank him.
"Ok see you soon." He says and I hang up.
"ZACH" I shout for him.
"Yeasss" He says jumping on me.
"How do you feel about going to visit Jess and Ally" I ask him.
"YESSSSSSS YESS YES" he shouts and hugs me.
"Right c'mon bed time" I say to him and we go into his room. I get his pyjamas and change him then brush his teeth.
"Night Zach" I say tucking him in.
"Night daddy" He says and I kiss his head. I go over to my room, get changed, do my teeth and get into bed. After a while I fall asleep.

*Three Days Later (Shawn's PoV)*

I stuff the last thing into the car and double check everything.
Stuff for Zach on the plane, stuff for me in the plane, snacks, clothes, shoes, tablet, headphones. Yup everything.
"C'mon Zach, we cant be late" I call into the house. I see Zach run out and My Mum, Dad and Sister behind him.
"Bye Mum" I say hugging her.
"Bye sweetie" She says and I go over to my dad.
"Bye Dad" I say and hug him.
"Bye son" I say and go to Aaliyah.
"Bye sis" I say and give her a hugs
"Go get your girl" She whispers and I smile. Zach hugs them all goodbye and we hop in the car. I turn on the engine and give them one last wave before driving off.
"I can't wait to see Ally" He says excitedly.
"Me too bud, me too" I say lightly and turn up the radio.

We pull up to the airport and get everything out. I hand Zach the Backpack with the plane stuff in it and I take the two suitcases. I look the car and double check I have everything then we go into the airport. We walk to gate B and half the man out tickets.
"Have a nice flight guys" He says and gives us a wave.
"Thank you" I say and wave back. We walk into the plane and get to our seats.
I put our bag in the middle seat and buckle Zach up. I put my seatbelt on as well and hand Zach his tablet and headphones.
"Can I get the blanky" He asks and I nod.
I grab it from my bag and hand it to him.
After a while we were both asleep.

"Excuse me sir. We are landing in ten minuets. Please wake up" A lady says shaking me.
"Oh thank you ma'am" I say and stretch.
"Hey bud, wake up we need to get sorted." I say and lightly shake Zach awake.

*Ally's POV*

*ding dong*
I hear the front doorbell go and I open it to see Kian standing there.
"Why are you here so early?" I question him.
"Oh I was wondering if you could pick someone up from the airport in like ten minutes." He pleads.
"Ok but why can't you" I ask.
"I need to be at work and I'm almost late, thanks bye" He says and get in his car driving off. I sigh and look at the time. It was 07:15. Which means I can get the person drop them off at the house and go to work. I put my shoes on and grab my car keys. I get in my car and drive to the airport.
I get out the car, lock it then go inside. It wasn't that busy but there were still planes to land. I look at a text message link an sent me and he said gate B. I walk over to gate B and wait for who ever it is to come up to me.
"ALLY" I hear someone shout to me. I turn and see zach standing there with a backpack on.
"Hey buddy" I say hugging him. Wait if he's here that means Shawn's here.
I turn to the gate and see Shawn standing there. Not realising I'm here.
"Need a hand with them" I say to him.
He turns to me and drops the bags, he wraps his arms around me tightly and I hug him back.
"You do not know how much I've missed you" He whispers.
"I've missed you too" I say, I pull away from the hug and he goes to pick up his bags. I grab his hand and stop him. He looks at me and I kiss him.
"Daddy!" Zach shouts, we pull away and turn to where he shouted.
"HEY WHAT ARE YOU DOING" Shawn shouts.
"Mum leave me alone" He says and slaps her hand away.
"You are his mum" I snap at her.
"Yes and I'm here to take him back" She says and Zach runs to Shawn. I walk up to her, and snap at her.
"No. You threw him to the kerb and he doesn't like you. If you want him back to bad" I snap and she scoffs.
"Well he's my son" She snaps back.
"By blood maybe, but the real people who love him is us" I say and walk back to Zach.
