Chapter 20 - Reunited

*Ally's POV*

I wake up laying in my bed as the sun comes through the window. I sigh and sit up grabbing my phone. I turn it on and see it's 7:30 in the morning. I'm gonna go on a walk. I put on some jeans, a t-shirt and a hoodie and grab my phone. I put it in my pocket and put on my shoes and jacket. I walk downstairs and head out the house turning right. Heading into the town. I walk down the street looking in window when I see someone rather familiar sitting on the floor. Oh my god is that Clare.
"Clare! Oh my god is that you" I say walking over an she looks up. A smile spreads across her face but soon it turns into a frown as she shivers because of the coldness.
"Why are you out here" I ask her. She sighs and stands up.
"W-Well you see I got kicked out by my parents and I don't have a job or relatives so here I am, no money no house" She says frowning. I think for a minutes then a smile appears on my face.
"What about you come stay with me for a while. You can have a job at my bakery and you can earn money and buy your own house" I say holding her shoulder.
"No no I can't be a burden to you" She says and I pull her arm.
"C'mon you can stay with me I've got the room, it's me, Shawn and Zach his adopted kid, c'mon what do you say?"
"Okay" she says giving in. We walk to the house and were greated by a lovely smell of bacon. that" Zach asks.
"Well this is Clare, she's an old friend from school." I say picking up Zach.
"Hi, I'm Shawn" He says hugging her.
"I'm Zach" Zach says.
"Well hi as you know I'm Clare" She says. I put Zach down and go over to Clare.
"Well I need to show Clare to her room so, see you guys later" I wave and guide Clare to the guest bedroom.
"Wow this is amazing" She say as I open the door.
"Well this is your room and you have an on suite." I say and she thanks me.
"Thank you so much Ally" She gives me a big hug and I hug back.
I head back to my room and lay on my bed. I turn on my tv and start watching Scrubs.
*knock knock*
"Come in!" I shout.
"Hey Ally" Zach says, jumping on my bed.
"Hey bud, what's up" I ask him, Cuddling up to his side.
"So who was that lady" He asks.
"Her name is Clare. She's going to be staying here for a while." I say and he nods.
"Can I sleep here tonight, I miss you." He says. I give him a big hug and then lay him under the covers.
"Of course, Zach" I tell him.
"Want to watch a film." I ask.
"What about Bruno and Boots!" He says excitedly.
"Which one?" I laugh.
"Umm the wizzle war" He says. I nod finding it on Netflix then pressing play.

After the movie had finished Zach wanted to do something else so we decided to go shopping , his choice not mine. As he got his shoes and coat on I went to Clare's room to see if she wanted to come. I knocked softly on the door.
"Come in" I heard a voice from the other side. I opened the door and Clare looked up at me, since she was on her bed.
"Hey, Zach and I were going to the mall and were wondering if you wanted to come?" I ask her.
"Sure, but I don't have money." She says and stand up, dusting off her clothes,
"That's fine, I'll pay." I say.
"No, it's ok I won't get anything." She says softly, looking down at the floor.
"Your coming, I'm paying, that's final." I say in a firm but soft voice, holding her wrists and taking her downstairs. At the bottom of the stairs was Zach and Shawn. Zach was holing Shawn's hand and Shawn was just handsome.
Ugh shut up brain. I thought to myself.
Im sorry you still like him. A voice in the back of my head says.
I shake my head getting the thought away, though it still lurked around. To be honest I do still liken him but, oh well.
I smile down at Shawn and Zach, since I was a bit taller still standing on the stairs.
"Shawn coming" Zach says happily.
"So's Clare" I say. We hop in my car and go to the mall. On the way we stopped at the petrol station and I was stupid enough to let Shawn and Zach go in and pay. Why was I stupid you may ask, well they came out with - I kid you not- two bags of sweets and crisps for our movie night I was just tilde we were having. I chuckle at the two as they get in the car. I start up the car and drive to the Mall.
We get out making sure we have everything and head inside. I make sure the car was locked and then catch up.
"So where to first" I ask no one In particular.
"Ooh Ooh I wanna go buy films." Zach say, pulling us into the film store.
"Well we have no choice so... sure" Shawn says laughing as he gets dragged by a happy Zach.
When we are in the store Shawn comes up to me.
"Hey can I speak to you in private" He asks.
"Sure" I say.
"Clare, would you mine looking at films with Zach, I need to chat with Shawn for a minute." I ask. She of course said sure and they went off to find a film. 
"So what's up?" I ask him, sitting on a bench beside him.
"So... um... yeh" He say looking at me.
"Ummm okay" I say. It coming more out as a question.
"You can ask her" I hear him mutter to himself."
"So, I was wondering if you wanted to go out tomorrow after work." He asks looking into my eyes. His eyes showed hint of hope and plead. I think for a second before breaking the eye contact.
"Sure" was all I said. A huge grin spread across his face and he hugged me.
"You won't regret it this time." He whispers.
"I hope not" I whisper back before breaking the hug and going to Zach and Clare. Leaving Shawn on the bench a bit stunned. I go over to Zach and see what he's doing.
"Hey bud, what've you picked so far" I ask.
"I got Lion king, Finding Nemo and Toy story 2" He says.
"Okay I think that's enough let's go pay" I say and I head to the till.

The day went by fast. The occasional chats with Shawn about what to ware  and what time. We went to a few clothes shops and some different stores and then headed home,
Currently I am sitting between Shawn and Zach, Clare being at the end, watching Finding Nemo. We have already watched The Lion king.

As the film ends, I pick up the sleeping Zach and head to bed. I get him to put in pyjamas and I go into the bathroom to get mine on.
I finish getting changed and I let Zach in So we can brush our teeth.
We say goodnight and I fall asleep after I set my alarm for tomorrow.
