Ethan's POV:
I am halfway through my book report when I hear a beep from my IPhone.
I look at it to see a message from Rayne. He is my partner at Headquarters of Spy Services.
And also my partner for this case.
Rayne: Mr. Oliver wants to see you urgently. It looks important.
Ethan: I am completing my book report. Can't you make any excuse?
I am not surprised to get a reply that instant.
Rayne: No. HSS' most skilled spy of all time is completing his book report while the world's in danger -.-
Ethan: Alright Rosedale. Stop uttering rubbish.
I run to change in my HSS coat.
After changing I get into my car and leave.
I reach HSS in 10 mins since its in an isolated area.
I walk up to the reception to find Rayne waiting there for me.
"Hey there Bro, long time no see" He say enthusiastically.
"Yeah. What the hell is wrong with Oliver man?" I ask him furiously.
"That's why we are here to check " He said walking through the lift typing his code.
"Old man" I mutter while typing in my code.
We reach the Nineteenth floor and the lift opens with a lady's voice wishing everyone a good day.
Rayne and I go upto Oliver's cabin to ask him about this urgent call.
"Hello there Ethan and Rayne! " He says before we could even enter the cabin.
Stupid Cameras. Technology!
"You called Mr. Oliver?" I ask him in a bored tone.
"Yes. The Walt Street attack survivors have been tested and they were all fine, except for the gas which was sprayed on them numbing their senses along with their control". He says in a serious tone.
"Are they awake?" Rayne asks astounded.
"Apparently Yes. And that's the reason I have called you both here." He says with a smirk.
"Which is why?" Rayne Questions him.
"You will be tested on the basis of your observation about the attack. How were they attacked? In which ways? How were these people harmed?
Everything." He finishes.
"But that's not a spy's duty. He is supposed to fight and save his country and not check the patients." I exclaim.
"But A spy needs to know everything and should keep track of every information." He says rolling his eyes.
"Start tomorrow. " He continues.
"But my book rep.."
"Its not a big issue Maxwell. Report tomorrow at the Control and Coordination Level at 5 AM." He says cutting me off.
We both groan and leave.
As I reach home I am tired but I try finishing my report only to end up to feeling sleepy.
As soon as my head hits my pillow, I drift of to sleep.
