Chapter 6 My First Opponent

Are you kidding me!?I looked at my phone and Lui's text message that says;Battle me.😠 In a rude way.

I sighed and got my stuff ready and head to school.I didn't really want to go,but I guess I don't have a choice,now do I!?

I'm basically still mad at him,after what he did to Shu,I'll never forgive him.I didn't really expect Lui to battle me even though I'm still practicing.But I can't let that Shu-thing get in my head,I'll do whatever it takes to teach him a lesson.

I finally made to school(Took me long enough)and went inside to the stadium.But before I did,I took a deep breath,and cleared my mind,and walked inside.Lui,on the other hand,was standing right there in front of me saying;Hmph,took you long enough.

Hey!Not my fault that I'm late!
I had other things to do!But Lui wasn't the only one here,Gabe was too.

(Truth is,he knew I was a blader before he battled Shu at the final)

Anyway,lets just get this over with. I sighed as I got my bey and launcher ready,and so did Lui.

I guess I don't have to say "first battle " then.Gabe said."Ahem" Ready,Set!3,2,1, LET IT RIP!Both beys entered the stadium.Lunior is an attack type,so which means it wouldn't be that difficult to beat.I thought.

Leonidas took the center as Lunior kept hitting it,but didn't move from its spot.Leonidas stayed at the center like a boulder.I looked really close at Lui's bey,it was spinning counter clockwise.No other bey can do that like his can.

Lunior was about to take Leonidas out with a direct hit,but bounced off the stadium.Why do I get the feeling that people are watching me?I said to myself.

When I turned around,they were.A lot people to be exact.One point for a ring out finish!Gabe shouted.Impressive.Lui said with his normal voice.Thanks.
So,I'm not suppose to say "second battle "?

Both of us looked at him with an awkward silence...Okay then.Lui turned to me and said;This time,I won't go easy on you!I won't lose to an amateur like you!

Ready,Set!3,2,1,Let It Rip!Both beys entered the stadium hitting each other with everything they got.Lunior went really fast and increased its speed.Leonidas once again went to the center,waiting for Lunior to attack.Leonidas held on really good.I said.Lui was starting to get angry cause he never struggled like this before.Alright!You've asked for it!He shouted;Lost!Spiral!A vortex appeared around Lunior and charged toward Leonidas,when it hit it,Lunior bounced to the air,and bursted.

Everyone's eyes widen,and so did Gabe and Lui."Ahem" And that is it! Two points for a burst finish!The score is 3 to 0!Gabe shouted.I looked around as I saw a lot of people staring at me.My face turned red.I never been so embarrassed in my entire life.I said.

When I started to leave,Lui got down on his knees and started shaking.I walked toward trying to calm him down and said to him;Are you all right?

Then he pushed me and gave a dirty look and shouted;GET OUT!I WILL NOT BE HUMILIATED BY YOU!YOU WASTE OF SPACE!JUST GET OUT!Tears we're starting to go down from his cheeks.I tried to hug him,but pushed me real hard.I SAID GET OUT!NOW!

I looked down in shame as I took Leonidas and the rest of my stuff and left the stadium.I just wanted to help someone,but sometimes,in this world,some people can be stubborn as Lui.

Life is not fair,I thought.As I walked home without looking back.
