A/N this takes place in Kong studios (In new to the fandom;-;)
It was late. But that seems to be when it happens most. Murdoc would arrive home, (it could be anywhere from 1-5 in the morning) totally shit faced, and for some reason, fuckin' pissed. He would always target 2D. Beating him, degrading him, and just fat out verbally and physically abusing him. 2D didn't know why, seeing as he was the nicest one out of everyone in Kong studios to murdoc. 2D was frail, fragile and, kind hearted. In noodle and Russell's eyes, he didn't deserve this. But, the worst part was, on the rare days or moments when murdoc was sober, he would say all these nice things to and about 2D, giving him a small will to stay, a slight hope that things will change.

•2D POV•
I was in the kitchen, drinking my morning Glass of peppermint tea. I touched the purple-blue splotch on my jawline, wincing at the pain. Last night, when murdoc came home (drunk, as usual.) He went to turn on a lamp in the living room. I guess the lightbulb went out. Realizing this, he angrily yelled at me from downstairs. I decided to go down so he wouldn't have to yell so loud. But as soon as I stepped foot in the living room, I was met with a lamp in my face. Resulting in this bruise. I sighed and took another sip of my tea. Suddenly, Murdoc emerged from behind me, startling me. " mornin' faceache." He said with his gravelly morning voice. I jumped, but answered soon after the shock wore off. "M-mornin' mudz" at least he was sober. "How's ma' lovely talented singer doin' today?" He asked, smiling slightly. I blushed, looking down. " am doin' g-good, muhdoc. Thanks fo' askin' " I love it when he tells me those pretty lies. 'Lovely' and 'talented'. "no problem. I jus care 'bout you, mate." I smiled softy, my cheeks tented a light pink.
Such pretty lies.

So.. Is it good so far? I hope so.. I've recently got into the band Gorillaz and found out about 2doc and instantly fell in love with the band and the ship and was inspired to read, and now write some 2doc fic(s)
