Learning the Past

3rd Person P.O.V.

After the incident neither of the teens talked to each other until the first battle of the war, Luke's plan was to take some forces to New York while Lilith who was the host of Kronos would stay in hiding somewhere near Manhattan but he dreaded when he told her because she always wants to help but it wasn't her time yet and she wasn't even guaranteed to fight because Kronos could assume his true form he didn't like that the Titan Lord used her but she's strong and plus she would've died from her injury but at least she could survive if the Titan Lord Kronos wishes that's what he's worried about maybe he'd let her live since she is an asset to Olympus but that could be the same reason to kill her

Luke's P.O.V.

I didn't want Lilith to fight or be in harm's way but she's emotional at me so she won't listen I don't even know what she's feeling because she hasn't talked to me for like a week and I just want her old personality back the one she had when I first met her

*Flashback*

It was a cold night and we were heading east when we heard a twig snap immediately we got into fighting positions because we thought it was a monster after us I did a stupid thing and yelled

"Who's there cause we can kill you easily"

"How are two teens and a child gonna kill me" the person giggled and yes I said giggling

The person walks in front of us and we see it's a girl, not even a monster

"Who are you?"

"Sorry how rude my name is Lilith Fairchild, Daughter of Poseidon and Slayer of a lot of things but anyways that's my abbreviated title my full one is too long. What are your names?"

"How did you know we were demigods?"

"Simple your weapons"

"Ok my name is Valentino"

"First of all that's not your name second of all there's a monster coming"

"We're gonna deal with the monster but then you are telling us everything" Thalia butted in

"Fine by me"

So we fought it and finished it off mainly Lilith she was barely scratched but she was skilled

"We'll tell you everything once we can trust you but where did you learn those moves?" great I'm not even talking anymore Thalia is

"Camp Half-Blood I suggest you go that way because it'll help you with your battling skills"

"Just go to Long Island Sound that's where the camp is"

"Thanks"

*Flashback Ends*

I've never thanked her and she probably hates me now

Lilith's P.O.V.

I thought I hated Luke but I don't and now I'm confused but I can't talk to anyone about it and it really sucks but I'll confess I mean we have known each other for a while now

I knocked on his cabin door "Luke?"

He opened the door and ask what I needed "I just wanted to say I love you and after this is done we can be happy"

"I hope so Lilith because I love you too" and with that, he kissed me and I felt butterflies
