Third person P.O.V

It was Christmas day and the Geick family and the whole Krecioch family were gathered around the tree to open presents. One person was missing and it was Dylan he had a late flight and they were not sure if he was going to be able to make it but the eager kids wanted to open presents so they went on ahead.

The tree was like any regular Christmas tree except it had small framed pictures of the whole family around it. "Knock ,knock, knock." Went the door and Jackson got up to open it. Dylan was standing at the door with a giant sweater on to keep him from freezing. "Dylan!" Jackson yelled and he gave him a tight hug and Dylan hugged him back. Everyone had a surprised look on their face until someone spoke up.

"Oh honey you're under the mistletoe!" Dylan's mom said as she pointed to the mistletoe. Jackson smiled at Dylan and Dylan smiled back. They leaned and kissed. "Get a room." Katherine said causing everone to burst out laughing.

Jackson and Dylan joined in on the laughter but unlike the others they were both blushing really hard. "Wait..were you all opening presents?? And without me?!" Dylan said in a playful manner. "Shut up and  open your presents." Dylan's mom said.

"Actually I want to give someone something first." Dylan said looking at Jackson. The room got silent and everyone knew what was about to go down but they were still unsure.

"Jackson." He took a deep breath. "As you know we have been dating for three years now. Three happy years that I will cherish in my memory. You have done nothing but made my life 100 times better and I can't thank you enough for it. You have made me a better person and I can't imagine life without you. " Dylan got on one knee and opened the box that had the ring.

"Jackson Krecioch, my one and only, Will you marry me?"

Jackson was in shock he had not expected this. He shook his head "yes" and then he yelled "yes!" He then pulled Dylan up and hugged and kissed him as he whiped away his tears. Everyone clapped and cheered and Dylan put the ring on Jackson's finger.

Both mothers were crying and everyone else was smiling and cheering. The night ended with lots of warm hearts and freezing temperatures.
