Dylan's P.O.V

Melody, my girlfriend, and I are on our way to our fancy dinner reservation. I looked good in my black and white tux and she looked good in her rose gold shimmer dress.

We have been dating for four months now and I don't really feel a connection. I mean... I sometimes do.. but not all the time.

Melody is nice and sweet. She isn't snobby and cares for others. She's almost like a best friend as well.

[At the restaurant]

We got out of the car and we made our way into the restaurant. A man asked for our reservations which I put under my name. "Uhh Dylan Geick," I said. "Hmm let's see Dylan Geick, Oh I found it! Your table is #25." Said the man.

"This young man will be your waiter today and he will lead you to your table." I looked at the waiter and he seemed annoyed almost. He seemed about the same age as me. He lead us to our table and kindly asked for what we'd like to drink.

Melody asked for lemonade and I asked for coke.

[I've never been to a fancy dinner sooo]

As the man was about to walk away, I quickly yelled out, "Excuse me sir. You forgot to tell us your name."

"My name is Jackson." He said before walking away.

"Sheesh someone seems a bit grouchy." Melody said.

Jackson came back with our drinks and we both ordered spaghetti for our meals.

[SKIIIIP IM TRYNNA GET TO JYLAN]

I finished my food and I turned my head to the right only to see Jackson working from a far with a smile on his face.

My heart felt.... a connection

Melody finished her food and Jackson took the plates. When we were getting ready to leave, Jackson finished working.

All three of us walked out of the fancy restaurant and Melody held my hand. "Go." Is what she said.

"What?"

"Go, you deserve happiness." She said looking at Jackson.

"Thank you so much Melody."

I ran to Jackson's car because he was in there. I gently tapped on the glass and he rolled down the window. All I said was:

"Hi I'm Dylan and you made me gay."
