Cam woke me up at about 7:30. We had a show at 1and I needed to get ready and practise. I stumbled out of bed, and hopped into the shower. Cam was out of the room at the time, so I sung my heart out. Once I finished, I let my hair air dry so I could do my makeup. I applied a thin coat of mascara and filled in my eyebrows, putting my makeup bag into my main bag so I could apply before the show started, after practise.
I threw on my Nike leggings and a thin hoodie, slipped on my trainers and left the room. We were dropped off at the venue and we went straight through to the stage. As we went to start playing our music, Bart came rushing in.
"No, no, no girls! You need to create a new dance, new music, the whole lot. And get that Sydney and Sarai to do it too." He ordered.
"Sadie and Sara, and why?" I asked, scrolling through my music.
"What? Because I said to, now go!"
I got the others and we chose a song - Mother We Share Remix. We all stood up and stretched.
"Guys, we could start with us in a line going backwards in height order, then when the music starts, point our elbows to the sky and our hands to the floor one after the other." Grace offered, demonstrating. We agreed and started. Everyone pitched in different ideas, even Sadie, who said she was hopeless when it came to dancing.
Shawn came in to check on our progress, and asked if any of us could do flips. Me and Grace rose our hands.
"Okay, so why don't you to do a back flip whilst two of us guys put our knees out, and then Sadie and Sara can lie across them, facing different ways. Then do like some cool arm tricks in the air." He said, getting all excited.
"Um, how would you come out to get in position?" I asked.
"You and Grace could do some spinning or something whilst these two run and get us. But make it look cool, you know?"
"Right, get Matt then." I said, winking at Sadie. She blushed but didn't say anything. Shawn and Matt came to us, and we performed the dance up until they came in. Me and Grace would spin until they got behind us, then we would both aerial to the sides. Then they would run in between, put one knee out. The girls would lie down, do arm movement and then stand up. During that time me and Grace would back handspring. Then the guys would run off stage, we'd run forward and bow, and that would be the end of the dance.
