The guys had gone out to get food and me, Sadie, Sara and Crystal had gone back to the house. We were all sitting around the aisle, blasting music from the speakers. Suddenly a thought popped into my head, Sara had news. I stopped the music, earning a couple insults from the girls. I laughed and looked at Sara.

"What?" She laughed.

"What's your news?" I asked.

"Oh, that. Shawn and I kissed. And then he asked me out. So now we're dating. Cool, right." She stated. We all squealed and congratulated her. Then I turned the music back on and we started dancing again.

The door swung open, signalling to us that the guys were back with food. We all cheered, expecting them to walk in with bags of Chipotle or McDonalds. But what we saw was much, much worse. Cameron stood there, clutching his side and wiping the blood dripping from his nose. His left eye was swelling up and his knuckles were bruised. None of us said anything, just stared at him in shock.

I acted first, shooting up of my chair and hugging him. The girls hugged him before I grabbed his hand and took him to my bathroom. He sat up on the counter top next to my sink whilst I wet a cloth. I dabbed his cut chin before rinsing it with a cut cleaning wipe. He winced in pain as this happened, but still didn't say anything. I put an ice pack on his eye and another on his knuckles.

I pulled his shirt up where he was clutching his side. It was all bruised. I stroked it lightly, not wanting to hurt him even more.

"What have you gotten yourself into, Cam?" I huffed, pushing his side to see the reaction. He bit his lip to hold in a yelp. "Sorry." I muttered.

"I don't know. Can you not tell the others about this, though?" He pleaded.

"Cam, you can hardly walk without wincing in pain. There's a huge gash on the side of your face and you can barely see out of your left eye. I won't have to tell them anything." I answered. A tear left my eye. I wasn't quite sure why. Maybe because I was seeing the guy I loved in so much pain. He wiped away the tear but soon he was crying himself. It could have been the pain or maybe just the emotion we were both feeling at the current moment.

I leaned on the side. He helped me up and I rested my head on his shoulder. He stroked my chin and laughed quietly.

"Cam, can I ask you something?" I said, breaking the silence.

"Go for it."

"What have you done to me?"

"Huh?" He sounded confused.

"Before I met you I was some girl that tried to hard and never had real fun and, and would have never been in love! You've changed me, Cam!"

"Oh?"

I needed him back. Back in my life. I turned his face so he was looking me in the eyes. We stared for about 2 minutes before Cam cupped my jaw and kissed me. I could taste the salty tears on his lips. His hand rested on my hips and mine were wrapped around his next. Wow, I really did love this boy.

I pushed him away and made deep eye contact with him.

"Cam?" I asked.

"Yeah?" He replied, removing his hand from my waist.

"Who did this to you?" I said, stroking his cheek. He looked away. He didn't want to say.

"Adam."
