When you said you loved me did you mean it?
Do those three words not mean anything to you?
No, in your eyes I wasn't worth the truth.
Was it your intention to destroy me?
Or did you just not want to be alone?
Your truth hurts but yor secrets kill.
Do you want to see me screaming in pain?
Wailing at the top of my lungs, that's how broken I should feel.
No, I refuse to give you the satisfaction of breaking me.
What do you mean you're trying to protect me?
I don't need your comforting lies.
I want the painful truths that you keep from me.
Did you really care,
Or were you just trying to cover your own back?
Telling me a truth that might make me cry, is better than telling a lie that makes me smile.
Didn't you expect me to find out?
Well, truths exist.
The lies that you told me were invented.
Do you feel safeguarded by the lies pouring out of your mouth?
Do you feel free if not change.
"Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free!"
You shouldnt have to lie.
There was never a need to cheat.
So why make promises you were never going to keep?
