Guardian Angel's Handbook

Chapter 1

"Leave me alone!" Bre screams at her brother, Peter.

" I can do what I want." He sneers as he shoves his over grown foot father in the door keeping from closing completely.

"No you can't because you don't own the world!" She yells back at him kicking his foot from the door. She presses her back to the door putting as much pressure on it as she can.

" Whatever!" He he grunts trying to get the door open. He finally gives up and leaves. Bre slides to ground closing the door all the way behind her.

" Of all the idiots in the world I had to get stuck with this one." She mutters. Suddenly there is a knock on the door.

" Bre let me in or I'm gonna tell mom!" Cathy whines. Bre sighs. She has been sharing a room with her little sister for almost five years. She also has been wishing for her own room for five years. She lets her little sister in and jumps on her bed. Grabbing her white iPod touch she texts her friend Skyler.

Bre: hey I can't wait for the party tonight.

Sky: me either. I miss you. Good thing you-know-you won't be there.

Bre: yes. I'm glad she isn't gonna be there lol.

Sky: Ill see you tonight! Don't forget to bring your iPod :)

Bre: kk bye!

Bre clicks off her iPod and sighs. It was only 11:22 and the party was at 5. Seven hours to kill. She walks outside and grabs her longboard. Putting her iPod on shuffle she listens to her favorite music. The wind whips through her hair and she smiles. The feel of the long board is so familiar to her. Bre bends down and touches the fast moving ground.

"BRE!" someone yells. It's her mom standing in the door way to the house. 'Great' she thinks.

"Yes?" She yells back at her mom turning around and riding back.

"Yes ma'am," she corrects "I need you to babysit Cathy. I'm going to go to the grocery store."

" Why can't Peter babysit?" She grumbles. Every time Bre babysits Cathy gives her an extremely hard time. But guess who never has to baby sit? Peter.

"Don't argue. Ill be back in an hour." Bre translates that automatically in her head to two. Bre runs her hand through her blonde hair thinking about how she can't wait to leave for Sklars party tonight.

"Okay bye." Bre says to her mom and pushes open the glass door to her house. She has lived inside this house her entire life. Nothing ever changes there. But that's the it is.

The party

We pulled up to a cream colored building. I glanced at the clock 4:28 p.m.' Good I'm early.' Bre thinks smiling. 'Ill have a little time with Skylar.' She grabs her bag out of the trunk of her blue ford mini van and says bye to her mom. There is a short set of stairs before you reach the door and Bre races up them. Grabbing the door handle she flings the door open to see a beautiful room with the amazing decorations. She sighsthis party is going to be awesome. Skylar appearded in the room. Her black hair normally straight have curled and it bounced and she ran to hung Bre.

"Hey!! Your the first one here come on ill show you the dance room!" skylar says giddy with excitement. Bre grins and let's Sky drag her the the dance floor.

"Wow this is amazing!" Bre says turning around and around looking at all the light and decorations. Skylar runs into a back room and suddenly there is blaring music. They start to dance swaying with the music. then two faces pop around the corner. Kay and Ellie. They join in the dancing. Skylar pull Bre into the small back room.

"Here pick a song!!" sky says to bre shove her iPad into bre's hands.

"Okay fine." And Bre picks the best day of my life by American authors. And suddenly Bre is happy. Then Sky walks back into the small room.

"Hey um so I said they weren't going to be here but my mom just told me they were going to be able to come.' Seeing the look on her face she quickly added " Don't worry they aren't staying the night."

"Oh thank God! At least they can't ruin tonight as well." Bre says. "So are we going to wear those dresses you told me about?" Sky smiles slyly and motions for Bre to follow her.

Bre's dress is beautiful. It is knee length with a sweetheart neck. The top is black and sparkly and the bottom is dark blue.

"YOU LOOK AMAZING!" Skylar yells when she sees Bre. Skylar is wearing a similar outfit but the bottom is hot pink and it's high in the front and low in the back.

"So do you! are you ready to go?" Bre asked and Skylar nods her head excitedly. They go back into the ball room were their friends are waiting and someone starts the music.
