We sit in silence as we drive down the silence. I'm thankful for it because it gives me time to reflect. I just defeated two monsters that were trying to kill me. I'm such a bad booty. This must have been what my dad was always talking about. He would always say "you'll meet your mom one day" I always thought he was crazy because of it. She abandoned us I don't care if she was a God or not you just don't pick up and leave. My dad would always say these inspirational quotes. His favorite one was " your attitude determines your altitude, it's time to fly". I felt tears prickling the back of my eyes. I opened to see that we were parked at the house. The betrayal evident on my face I turn to look at Gemini.
" I thought you said we were going to see my mom"
" We are don't look so butt hurt" she said the sarcasm pratically dripping from her words.
I step into the living room and I feel a magnetic pull and see the woman that birthed me. She has this glow to her and she's very beautiful but what confuses me the most is that she's white. I guess she reads the confused look on my face because she answers my unsaid question.
" Gods can take any form and I chose to be a black woman".
I had to process everything. Then she said " Since you defeated those monsters you are now ..... a God.

Being a God has major props but there's the disadvantages. Apparently I'm not supposed to have human relationships. Well sorry not sorry but I've broken that rule about 20,000 times. I mean I'm 17 what else am I supposed to do. And a major awesome thing is that Zeus convinced Hades to give my dads life back to him and he did. My dad has a new wife and things are going good. All I do nowadays is mainly break rules and act awful. I've defeated over 200 monsters. I'm a hero and that's all I do but I'm a God. I gave my brothers their full horns and immortality so I don't ever have to lose them. Hera never pays attention to me anymore. Sometimes she won't even look me in the eye and I see the sympathy that the other Gods have for me. I don't need sympathy. I gave Gemini immortality and she now is the leader of my huntress group. Her father Ares finally met her and I think it was the happiest I've seen him. I guess life will be like this forever.
