Bode looked extra cool today in his grey tailored suit.He had a black turtleneck top underneath and a red polka dotted pocket square to add a pop of colour. And those shoes, I don't know what exactly they're called...Oxfords? Brogues? But they  were so to die for. I never knew he had a body good enough to pull off such a look.

I wasn't the only one staring at him. Aisha was to.

"You should go undercover everyday, you look amazing!" Aisha's statement was sufficient to shake the still atmosphere as all three of us burst into crazy feats of laughter.

Just then, Clara barged into her office. Weird? But she did barge in.

"Spill!"

We exchanged glances in bid to decide who would go first.

"Bisola! What do you have for me."

Her voice came again, fierce as ever.

"Well, I watched the security footage four times before I noticed that it was looped between 5:45pm and 5:50pm which is a clear indication that it has been tampered with."

"The security footage... Where did you get it from?" Clara asked.

"From the hotel. They have only five CCTV cameras. This particular footage is from the camera with the view of the gate. They probably looped it to cover his escape." I replied.

"Clearly, we are dealing with a criminal. Not too smart though but trust me we have a hard nut to crack." Clara said.
She took her seat and continued, "Check them again as well as those from the bank and eatery at both ends of the street. Hopefully they didn't take care of that."

"Yes ma'am!" I said, happy that I wasn't called a disappointment.

"Bode!" She shifted her gaze to him

He coughed lightly and straightened out his suit as if to show Clara the obvious. She didn't seem to be catching on. He rolled his eyes and then picked up the Manilla file on Clara's table. He pulled out the image of May Dasilva. She was an engineer working at Loop, a software company, developers of Band a messaging application. She was on the team that developed the application and had access to the passwords.

Band had become the in-thing on social media, being a Nigerian brand and offering a wide range of services from video calls to media sharing in addition to the fundamental messaging.

"We went to school together and sort of have history." He said with a smirk.

Who knew Bode was the kind to hit on women?

" I'm meeting her by 7pm for dinner at her office. I feel if I can get my hands on all the files on her computer and/or phone, I can find something that'll lead us into Band's Archives. I just have to get the perfect chance." He continued

If this worked, like we hoped, we could be taking a strong leap in our investigation. We discovered that Gloria was on Band when we went through her backed up text messages and found one for the verification of a Band account about seven months old. Her killer had wiped out her phone manually and we could only get the text messages from her SIM card.

"Ok. Is that all?"

He nodded.

"We just have to see to it that this person is found . It's the only way we can take the blame off you." Clara said looking at us with some pity mixed with concern. Hearing her say "we" like she was going to join us wasn't unusual because the truth was she never did and so we didn't expect her to.
