As school ends, Kyle leads me to his house. I really consider him a friend now, and we throw our bags down. As we run up the stairs, I notice a few pictures of Kyle as a baby. He blushes, and informs me to keep moving. As we enter his room, there is an explosion of different basketball fatheads. I see KD, LeBron, Chris Paul, and Blake Griffin, all blazing in color. I stare at him.
"This is amazing," I reply, still staring at his overloaded walks.
He shrugs. But I notice him blushing. He then walks over to his computer, and beams the screen up to his television. I look and notice it has all if the class up there. It must be a virtual yearbook!? I notice, he has all girls circled. This must be his plan to find me a date.
"Y'know those girls you winked at yesterday, those are them", he says.
"How'd you know I did that," I reply.
He smiles mischeviously," One of those was my girlfriend. Idiot. I know everything!,"
I blink blindly. Okay, better not wink at his girlfriend anymore! I make a mental note of that. I glance at the girls at the screen, ugh they're all not for me.
He notices my exasperation, "There us one more, I think you might like her." he says smiling. Then he beams up a pic. The first word that pops into my brain is whoa! She's hot! Classic me crushing on someone I don't even know. He's grinning, probably reading my mind.
"Like her," he asks.
"Sure, she's alright", I say back, still looking at the pic.
"Yea right! Alright!? So, are you going to be a man and ask her or just sit back and watch her get taken by the bully."
I look at him abruptly. She's that (more cuss words) girl. That's cheap.
" Challenge accepted boy," I mutter, hoping the bully somehow got the message. One way or another, he was going down, basketball 1v1 style.
