Firefur was born during the reign of Rabbitstar, to the Thunderclan queen, Fernshadow, and the Thunderclan tom, Stonestride. Firefur is a smart, spunky, and outspoken she-cat. She is very close to her only littermate, Lighteningpelt. Firefur was always jealous of Skystone. However, she got an odd feeling every time she looked at him. When Firefur and Lighteningpelt became warriors, a few moons after Skystone, her littermate died while fighting a couple of badgers. She later realized her feeling was love. Firefur and Skystone became mates and Firefur bore him four kits, Rainkit (she-kit), Snowkit (she-kit), Stormkit (tom), and Owlkit (tom).
