He signaled Soundwave and a ground bridge appeared. I was so full of confusion and anger I was going to explode! First question on my list: WHY????????!!!!!!! I know the saying "the customer is always right" but I was almost done! Maybe I'd kill Megatron and hide his remains somewhere deep in that mine. As soon as I saw that mine I knew it was abandoned, that'd be just perfect! We didn't even have a light source, just our optics. We walked in silence for the longest time, I was about to send a fatal shock into his back when he spoke up.
"Nova, that second mission was a test."
My optics flared,"Why were you wasting my time?! I could've had someone else that would have actually paid me!"
"I wanted to see if you were capable of following my orders."
"I don't follow anyone's orders, I don't belong to anyone, yes you told me what to do, but it wasn't for free. I want my pay." I got in front of him and glared into his red optics. He only smirked,"How about this, you get to be my second in command if you kill-"
"IS THAT WHAT THIS IS?" I started charging up,"I want real pay, energon, repair parts, anything like that! Being your second in command means I have to call you lord Megatron and do whatever you ask for the rest of my life!" My hands lit up with the green electrical charge I built up and I saw the whole room. I just found out why he was keeping calm and quiet, the ceiling was about to cave in! I turned back to him and he had his cannon pointed upwards.
"All I'm asking is that if you kill Starscream, you can join me and never worry about being low on energon or repairing anything ever again. Of course you don't have to, but you might suffer the consequences," he kept doing that stupid smirk!
I shook my head and backed into the middle of the room,"I never chose sides, and never will. You can beg all you want!" I wouldn't have minded to be a decepticon for a while, I really wanted to get past his evil side into a more friendlier side. Maybe I could change his mind about the war, but I couldn't let him know that now. I had to show him that a simple cave in wouldn't take me out. As planned, his facial expression went from a smirk to an irritated look,"What wasted power." He shot at the ceiling and down it went! I focused on it and right as it was about to hit me it stopped.
He looked surprised,"I knew you were powerful, but this is..."
It was my turn to do a smirk,"Ah, foolish decepticon! You should always do a background check on the bounty hunters you hire on." He started to move slowly into the tunnel, but I blocked it off before he could get anywhere. I shaped the rocks over him.
"No one calls me a fool and lives!" he growled
"Mmm, yes, not this time. Now I will accept your little offer IF you agree with my deal. I get to hunt whenever I please, no matter what you want from me. Two, if the autobots have a job for me, I will get to do it because what's the fun of hunting when you can only hunt for one side? Lastly, I want as much authority as you have over the ship and I can call you whatever my spark desires."
"I won't accept that, I can't have you working for me and against me at the same side!"
"I believe it would be best to agree since I have the upper hand, Megatron."
He thought for a moment, then sighed angrily,"I accept your offer."
I let down the rocks slowly and held my hand out,"I accept your deal as well."
He came over and shook my servo. Then he called for a ground bridge but got no response. He called again,"Soundwave, do you hear me." Still no response!
"Shouldn't you know where your ship is? You are the leader of the decepticons."
He ignored me,"Soundwave! Anyone! Answer me for Primus sake!"
I cleared the way and went outside to find a good spot to find the ship's energy signature. I heard something moving around above me and as I turned around and something flew at me and knocked me out.
