Emma's POV- Chapter 2:The Marketplace

It was a beautiful day, as all were now that the so-called "queen" was defeated. Mother and father went to the market to get some food for the ball we were throwing that night. Everyone was invited, except of course, Regina. Killian and I were in the arena watching Henry practice his archery with Merida and Mulan. Merida and Mulan both were the main fighting instructors for young boys who would go into the army if necessary. Merida and Mulan had actually just gotten together and both worked amazingly well with one another. "Now, you must make sure to never be distracted." Mulan said. Merida responded with, "For, one small slip up-" "-leads to a screw up." finished Mulan. They both smiled at each other. "Kind of like your father and I, Henry." I jokingly said. "Ha ha. Thanks a lot, mom." Henry replied, smiling. My mother and father then came into the arena. "Alright. We need to start preparations for the ball tonight." father said. "Yes, that is correct so Henry, you need to clean up then I need you, Merida, and Mulan to get the guests all gathered outside of the castle. Emma, I need you to make sure the decorations are all hung up. Killian, make sure the silverware and food is set. David will help you with that. I will assemble the maids to get the place looking nice and polished up. Okay, people, Operation-" Mom started. "-Tigress?" Henry suggested. Mom smiled, "Operation Tigress is ago." Everyone rushed around getting everything set up for the feast and the ball. It was a big rush as the ball was in 5 hours. It seems like a lot, but royal balls have to be perfect. Meanwhile, other things were going on...
