'Twas a late morning when Yusei awoke, not a soul was stirring, except for the bloke.

Well, that was what he thought when stretching and groggily raising himself from his computer, until he set eyes on a tragedy. A travesty. A joke... He hoped.

Jack, apron adorned with, was busy flipping over sausages in the frying pan whilst keeping an eye on eggs boiling besides him in a hot pan of water. Crow stood besides him, wiping a thin layer of butter onto two slices of toast followed by jam, then cutting the slices into quarters, or what is known in the trade as 'soldiers'. Jack's array of food had finished frying and boiling, thus he plated the sausages and slid the eggs into two prestigiously little egg cups, cracking the tops off to give room for Crow's soldiers and fitting the display on a thin metal tray, along with Crow sliding the plate of toast soldiers next to the non-vegan delicacies.

Yusei watched in awe. The two were making food. Jack was making food. But more shocking that that – the two were getting ... along?!

"G-guys?" Yusei croaked, voice denoting the fact he needed a drink.

"Yusei!" Both boys smiled. Both. Smiled. Together. Crow fetched a cup and filled it with water, leaping down to Yusei with it and landing in front of the baffled Fudo with half the original amount due to spillage from the fall.

Cautiously, Yusei took the glass and sipped, eyeing Jack as he strutted to the pair holding the tray of platter.

"C'mon, Yus! To the table, we made you a full English breakfast." The two chefs nodded to each other and whilst Jack was laying the poorly made yet still standing table with the food Crow was coercing Yusei over, hand tugging Yusei's to attempt to move the still statue of their once sane friend, prior to this horror.

"Crow... What's happening?" He asked, hoping for an answer. He prayed that his calendar was wrong, and that it was the first of April thus could blame it all on being April Fool's, or that he had somehow been drugged in the night and was having some type of lucid dream.

It was neither, as he came to gather.

"We're just making you feel better, man." Crow had to force Yusei into his seat at this point, then he and Jack took position opposite Yusei and both stood, straight and polite whilst letting Yusei survey his meal.

"B-better?"

"You haven't been eating correctly, correct?" Jack raised an eyebrow to his friend, getting the expected blank stare back.

"We know you feel like you haven't had time to do that stuff-" Crow began, yet was cut off by Jack's sarcastic sass.

"The stuff that's essential to life, yeah who has time for that?" He folded his arms and looked off.

Yusei gulped. Yeah; he knew he had been lacking in those essentials, but he could pick it up after the tournament right?

"Mmhm, so we thought we'd fill in for you! Look after you, I guess."

Yusei blinked. "Look... After me?"

"Like parents." Jack stated, then grinned and looked down to Yusei seductively. "Call me daddy~"

Crow coughed and punched him out the way before Yusei could fear his life for this day. "What Jack MEANT was that we care for you, Yus! Maybe we can't help you work cuz, I don't know we're too stupid for that technical stuff," Yusei tried to stop Crow, feeling saddened that his friend may feel this way from his passive appearance to their offerings to help him work, but Crow continued regardless, "but we can help you with the basics, that you seem to have difficulty with doing yourself!"

Bowing his head, Yusei was speechless. He felt silly for pushing aside both his own health and the help his friends tried to give to the work he was so passionate about recently.

"Crow. I'm sorry I've been so neglectful to you guys. But really, you don't need to-"

"We do!" Crow cut him off. "For both your sake and our own self-satisfaction. If Kalin was here, he'd drill that into you, so let us help!"

Yusei had no words once more. Yet Crow was right.

"Ok. I really appreciate it, both of you!" He smiled, then looked to the food. "You guys worked hard on this... together..."

Jack regained himself and nodded alongside Crow, causing Yusei to smile at their compassion with each other. Crow punching Jack earlier had let Yusei know they weren't strange aliens pretending to be his friends, or high. Extremely high. Fatally high.

Yusei dipped one of the soldiers, which he deemed childish but was willing to accept he fact that Crow and Jack were going to treat him like a child for today, and honestly, it felt good to be treated differently, even like this, thus he raised the lubricated toast to his lips and...

Nom.

"MMM! That's good. Thought the egg could be more boiled; I fear salmonella may be lurking." Yusei cooed, licking his lips and wiping the mushy egg yolk from the toast.

Jack sighed. "I was multitasking, mate, cut me some slack." Or in this case, cut me some of Crow's delicious toast soldiers.

Yusei noticed the maroon sausages that lay in a row, steaming away. He forked up one and bit the tip of the sausage (hey you knew this would get sexual somehow - it's a fanfic ffs) and swallowed (again, you knew prior to this moment). He moaned and the warmth trickling down his throat as the juices leaked out of the soft, tough meat.

"Good?" Jack leaned in to the table to eye Yusei's reaction.

"Very good!" Yusei licked his lips once more, gulping the entire sausage in once bite.

Relieved and proud, Jack fisted the air with great triumph for how good his sausages tasted. (No comments anymore, mates.) Crow tutted, but the pair continued to watch as their friend ate the entire meal – albeit not the liquid yolk of the eggs due to fears of that bacterium – and enjoyed every bite.
