Peter's POV

I watched with a smile on my face as Rylie's face contorted with rage and then confusion. Amusing indeed. Without sparing her another glance I walked away, locking the door behind me. I went to my room seeking some well deserved rest, briefly pausing to listen to Rylie's sobs. I laughed, her obvious anguish sounding like music to my ears. I dialled up Brianna's number, hoping against hopes that she didn't change it.

"This number is not in use, please re-dial and try again."

S**t. I guess I have to go and get her myself then. Before I left I quickly checked on Rylie again only to see that she fell asleep on the chair, her wrists now a crimson red. Stupid girl. Oh well, she'll learn soon enough she's not going to get away from me.

I drove away quickly, the tires screeching and my heart racing. I couldn't wait to see her again, even if it wasn't under the ideal circumstances. I checked in my rear view mirror to see if there was anyone else in the street, but it looked deserted. Good. That way if someone did notice her disappearance no one would be able to tell the police that they saw me driving here in my car. I came to a stop at their front door, and swiftly got out the car. This was it. I didn't have some big master plan like most criminals in movies, but I somehow hoped she would just come with me. Otherwise I would have to take her. Either way, she was coming back.

I rang the bell politely, patiently waiting for her to open. I was always a gentleman like that. When I heard footsteps aproaching I could feel my heart beating wildly in my chest, bursting to break out. When she opened the door it was like my world stopped; she looked breathtaking.

"Peter... What... What are you doing here?"

She sounded like she was in shock. Not the worst response.

"I've come to take you home." I gave her my best smile.

Her expression quickly went from shocked to horrified. Fearful. Alarmed.

She ran into the house, calling the police no doubt. My heart sank, I should have planned this better. I took the car and huriedly drove away. I would be back though. I would be back.
