Chapter 17- I'm Gonna Run to You part.1

"So if we're going to escape we need a plan."we had to think good about this.

"I got it."Then Lindsay began to whisper the plan to me.

When she finished telling me the plan we decided to put it into action tomorrow.

We went to sleep knowing we were going to be awaken tomorrow.

Luke's POV

I began to get nervous.

What if she was already dead?

The love of my life could be dead and it would be my fault......

Grace's POV

"Get up!"

Groaning I sat up and expected to see Jacob but it was Zach.

"I'm up."I spat bitterly.

"Don't talk to me that way. Ever."Zach said and kicked me in my stomach.

" What do you want now?"

"For you to get up!"

"Ugh fine."

But when I got up he pushed me back down- no shoved me down to be exact.

"How the hell am I supposed to get up when you and those other fuckers keep pushing me back down?! Am I supposed to stand up or stay back on the ground!"I sneered.

Zach just smiled sweetly.

"Why am I even here."I didn't even try to fight the urge to roll my eyes

"You made me lose my bet so I'm gonna make you pay."

"What bet?"

"If I went out with you for 3 months then I get 6 grand. But because we broke up I lost the bet and now I owe 6 grand."

"Don't forget I dumped your sorry ass,"I muttered "so let me get this straight: you had a bet to date me for 3 months but because we broke up you lost 6 g's?"

"Yea."

I laughed. "You're so stupid and weak minded."

"Oh really? How?"

"Who just goes out for someone for 6 grand and you did nothing to try to keep us going to win that 6 grand."

.......dumb....

" Whatever" he turned around and walked back up the stairs.

While he was leaving I had to tell him. "Thanks for making my day!"

After a while Lindsay had woke up and we reviewed the plan.

*******later on*******

"Ready?"

"I hope so I really hope thi-"

The door opened and Jacob came downstairs.

"Hey."he smirked

here goes nothing. Best seductive voice Grace.

"Hey."

"Miss me?"

"More than you would think."

I pulled his body to mine and meaninglessly kissed him.

I held up my hand for Lindsay to come over. She slowly walked over and stabbed him in the back with her pocket knife.

"AHH-" I covered his mouth to prevent him from making too much noise.

He broke away from my grip limping and tried to punch Lindsay but she dodged him.

I ran behind him and put him in a headlock.

"Shhhhhhh"I said while doing a trick I learned from my cousin on his neck.

He slowly fell from under me.

The door opened and Zach and another guy came in.

Zach went for me and the other guy went for Lindsay.

" Grace the lamp!"

I looked over and grabbed the lamp.

When Zach got near me I smashed the lamp against his head and he immediately passed out but something happened I didn't think would happen.

The room caught on fire.

"Lindsay!"

" Grace I'm gonna lift you up and you need to jump out the window."

I shook my head furiously "No! What about you?!"

"Grace don't worry about me we need to hurry. Now"

When I got out the window I looked back down

"Bye Lindsay."

"Bye Gra-"before she could finish the other guy slammed her head in the cement wall.

"Noooo!"

I was about to climb back in to help her but a blaze of fire lit up the room.

I ran.

I ran as fast as my feet would take me.........
