I've never been to Santa Cruz so some of the places and things are based on real establishments but manipulated so that they work in my story.

Teri's POV:

We wake up early and spend some time playing with each other in the shower, but every time I go to touch her between her legs she swats my hand away reminding me that it was my idea to not spend all of our time in bed. Apparently she wants to tease me and two can play that game.

We finish showering and move to the bedroom to start getting dressed. She is purposely putting on a show trying to tantalize me and it's working.

"So what is the plan for today?" she asks.

I look up from drying myself off and I see that she has her leg up on the bed exposing herself to me.

"Seriously?" I mutter laughing a little bit.

"What?" she asks bringing the towel between her legs to dry herself.

"We gonna head over to the boardwalk in Santa Cruz. They have a great breakfast place there and I figured we could do some shopping. Play some games ... but I see you've already started that," I laugh.

"I have no idea what you're talking about," she says licking her finger.

"What. the. fuck?" I say slowly as I chuckle.

This time she can't keep a straight face as I throw my towel at her and she bursts into a fit of laughter.

"Get dressed and let's go."

"Want to grab some breakfast since the rides and stuff don't open until 11? There's this little diner that opens early for breakfast and it has some really good eats," I ask as we get out of the car.

"You've been here before?"

"Yeah. When I was married years ago we would come here some weekends. It was more his idea than mine, but it grew on me."

"When we first started dating, Kamar and I would spend weekends in Atlantic City. He loved to play poker and I loved to shop."

"This place has more games and rides and stuff like that. Anthony was a big kid when it came to that. But they have some cute shops, and a little bar that does karaoke if you're brave. If not we can play some skeeball and I can win you a giant stuffed bear," I say as I wink at her. "Speaking of brave... do we dare?" I ask as I hold out my hand to her.

"No one will think anything of it," she answers as she takes my hand and laces her fingers with mine.

Sherri's POV:

We pick a booth at the far end of the diner for privacy. It's a Wednesday morning so patronage is light, but you never know. We both order coffee and I order the eggs benedict while she orders the oatmeal and fruit.

"See, that's why you have abs and I don't," I laugh.

"What are you talking about? Woman, you have the leanest muscle tone I have ever seen in my life. I'd kill for it. Or at least break a few kneecaps," she muses as she winks at me again. One more time and I'm going to have to take her into the bathroom.

We make small talk as we wait for our breakfast, and we spend time making what I can only describe as googly eyes at each other. Sometimes it gets so intense that I have to look away. She really is one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen in my life. And not only that she is the realest. She always comes at you straight. There is never a hidden agenda. That's why I've always been a little bit in love with her. I never denied it to myself. It was something I always knew, and it always just felt right.
