Chapter 8: We've been caught!!

                 Author's note: Hope you guys enjoyed chapters before this one. Including Chapter 6: Reunion!! Now, in this part everyone finds out about something. How will it affect Mikasa and Annie's relationship between them? Plus, how will they react to the information their comrades have to say to them?

                After Mikasa was gone for awhile, Annie was freeing herself more and more from the crystal. Mikasa was asked not to tell anyone about it, not yet anyways. When Mikasa returned to the cellar, Annie's head was out of the crystal, only her head. Mikasa dropped everything from her arms and Annie glances over to her.
              Annie: "What? What's wrong Mikasa?"
             Mikasa: "Nothing, just a little shocked to see that almost your free well a little from that crystal is all, Annie"
             Annie slightly smiles and she cracks her neck and she sighs too.
            Annie: "I'm taking my sweet ass time to free myself from here. But I don't want to keep you waiting anymore, Mikasa"
            Then, a set of loud footsteps are to be heard and it made the both gasp. Mikasa looks at Annie and Annie looks at Mikasa.
           Mikasa: "Please, crystallize yourself before anyone sees you like this, hurry up Annie"
           Annie nods and she recrystallized her entire body and everything was back to normal inside the cellar. Mikasa soon immediately lays in bed as if nothing happened. Then, the metal door opens, and Captain Levi and Hanji appeared in the door way. Mikasa sits back up to see them now. They looked at her, Levi had his usual expression he always had. Hanji on the other hand was happy to see the crystallized Annie before her. Hanji walks over to the crystallized Annie now.
            Hanji: "Has anything happen lately, Mikasa?"
           Mikasa: "Just strange nosies coming from it was all, Hanji"
          Hanji: "Hm, how interesting Annie is right now. I wonder on how much longer she'll in here for. Ever since, she became crystal, I've always wondered this possiblity."
              Mikasa: "Really? So....why are you two here for now?"
             Captain Levi: "Just checking in, to see if anything has changed in here yet. But nothing....yet again. Hanji, we're done here"
              Hanji: "But-"
              Captain Levi: "Now!"
              Hanji sighs and they both left the cellar now. Mikasa took in a deep and long breathe then released it as a sigh. Annie remelts her crystal to only free her head again.
              Annie: "I wonder why they are so curious about me becoming crystal."
             Mikasa: "That's not it Annie. They really want the information you have. About your motivates for what you did and why too. Also, they want answers to the reasons why you are doing this."
             Annie: "...."
             Mikasa sighs deeply underneath her breathe and she turns her body around to face Annie. Mikasa placed her hands on Annie's crystal now. Annie doesn't say anything for awhile. Then Annie broke the silence with another question and flashback.
              Annie: "Hey, Mikasa, do you remember when all of the girls learned about our relationship? But you and I already knew that Historia knew about it."
              Mikasa sits down on her futon bed and she smiles absolutely happily.
             Mikasa: "Yeah, I remember it all too well"
             Start of their flashback:
             Mikasa was outside working out nearby the barracks but mostly in the forest. Once she heard branches snapping by someone who stepped on them, Mikasa hid herself and she got ready to attack. As soon as the person appears (well their shadow), Mikasa pushes on them and she placed her combat knife on their neck. The person's face was covered by a white hoodie. Then, the person flips Mikasa over and the person reversed Mikasa's knife at the back of Mikasa's neck. Mikasa growls in disgust as she looks up. To her surprise, the person she just attacked was.... Annie!!
             Mikasa (in disbelief): "An.... Annie!?"
             Annie: "First off....Ow! What the hell did you do that for huh?"
            Mikasa: "Sorry, I'm jumpy sometimes okay. I thought someone was going to attack or sneak up on me"
            Annie: "Uh-huh"
           Mikasa: "You don't believe me, do you?"
            Annie: "I didn't say that, Mikasa"
            Mikasa: "It sure sounded like it when you said 'Uh-huh', Annie"
            Annie gets off of Mikasa and she sits down next to Mikasa. Mikasa looks at Annie waiting for her to respond.
           Annie: "Okay fine, I admit it okay....I believed that you were lying."
           Mikasa sighs and she leans against a tree behind her. Annie glances at Mikasa. Then, she gently touches Mikasa's left hand now. Mikasa slightly flinches but she soon relaxes afterwards. Annie gets closer to Mikasa now.
            Annie: "Is something on your mind or something?"
           Mikasa shook her head and she looks up then back down now.
          Mikasa: "I'm just spacing out is all, Annie."
          They stayed like that for awhile before they separated for about six days before they're reunioned yet again. After those six days of their new separation, they're back with one another. They had to act like there was nothing between them until they were all alone together. When they're all alone with one another, they ate together, hanged out, kissed here and there, and talked. Now something very, very unexpected thing happens. It's pretty close to the end of the evening and off to night, and all of a sudden a phone call on Mikasa's cell phone begins. Mikasa was asleep foe her nap and she was awoken from the ringing of her cell phone. Mikasa groans softly as she wakes up. She takes the cell phone off of it's charger now. Mikasa then answers her cell phone.
               Annie (on the other line on the phone): "Hey, you woke Mikasa?"
              Mikasa: "Hmm!? Oh....I just woke up now but yeah I'm woke."
             Annie: "Ah! Sorry if I woke you up, I don't know when you wake up in the mornings."
             Mikasa: "It's fine, I wake up when I feel like it. Well....uh....most of the time actually."
            Annie: "I see, well, I want to tell you something."
           Mikasa: "Hm? Okay, tell"
           Annie: "We have a mission together, it'll be starting tomorrow morning, Mikasa. It's a scouting mission."
           Mikasa: "Eh? A scouting mission for what exactly?"
           Annie: "Not sure, but we'll find out when we get that I guess, Mikasa"
           Mikasa: "Okay I'll see you tomorrow then, Annie"
           Annie: "See you tomorrow"
           They hanged up on the phone at the same time. Mikasa leave her bedroom to make breakfast for herself then watch TV. Annie was out shopping today then off to her house. Then, the day of their mission happens now. Mikasa arrived before Annie did for the mission. Once Annie arrived, she walks to Mikasa before anyone else. Mikasa didn't notice her until the last minute. Annie wraps her arms around Mikasa's neck now. Mikasa gasps and she placed her right hand on Annie's arms around her neck. Mikasa smiles as she saw Annie. They gently stroke their noses together, and no one could see them do this at all. They do this for awhile as they embrace each other. It was Mikasa that did a kiss which got Annie off guard. Annie gasps within the kiss but she kisses Mikasa back. This kiss only lasted for a bit because Jean was walking towards Mikasa and Annie's location.
             Mikasa stops the kiss and they immediately separated from one another now. Jean stops walking and he looks at Mikasa then starts flirting with her now.
            Jean: "Your hair as beautiful as ever, Mikasa."
           Mikasa doesn't sat anything to him and it caused him to get closer to her.
           Jean: "Are you being shy now? That's so unlike you Mikasa. Is it because that I'm here? Do you love me?"
           Annie got fed up and she does the same move she used on Eren for training. Jean grunts and he hits the ground with his back and neck just like Eren and Reiner went through, including Jean when Eren used the same move before her eyes. Annie sits on him and Jean grunts more.
              Annie: "Can't you see that she doesn't want to talk to you. Leave before I'll bumble you even more, Jean!"
             Mikasa quietly grabs Annie and then walked off. Jean gets up and he dusts himself off. He spits out a bit of blood from his mouth. Mikasa and Annie were now somewhere else. Mikasa was kissing Annie violently. Annie grabs Mikasa's arms while moaning as she felt Mikasa's hand going up her shirt now. Mikasa wasn't lighting up on the kissing part. Annie squirms to become free but was defeated by Mikasa's strength to become free once again. Annie was now pushed against a rock and Mikasa picks her up having her arms around Annie's waist. Annie moans more out of pleasure as this continued to happen here. Then they were interpreted by the noise of ODM gear nearby. They immediately separated from one another yet again so no one saw them like that. After a long time of scouting for nothing really, they all took a break since the day was now ending. It's the end of the evening, and Mikasa and Annie's back were against sand bags and had their green rain coats on since it was starting to get cold out.
              They ate their dinner together and they accidentally fell asleep right next to each other without knowing it, I'm a sitting position with their knees up and legs spread open a bit. But Annie's legs were flat on the ground and on one another. Then, Sasha, Hanji, and Connie saw them both like that. They whispered among themselves then they did the unexpecting thing. Connie told Hanji and Sasha to get into a position for a picture of this moment on his phone. Sasha and Hanji agree with it and they got into their position for Connie's picture of Mikasa and Annie sleeping. Mikasa's head leans on to Annie's head. She was slightly drooling on her left cheek. Annie's face wasn't gloomy for once, she looked like she was at peace not so gloomy. Annie's face was kinda buried in to Mikasa's right shoulder. Hanji has her arms spread out and she kneels downwards a bit next to Annie and the sand bags behind her. Sasha was doing a peace sign, she was kneeling more downward than Hanji, plus she was behind Mikasa and the sand bags behind Mikasa and Annie too. Connie got his cell phone out to take the picture. Connie took the picture and they all left so Annie and Mikasa could get their rest.
              In the morning, they finally got their chance to know what why they are out on a scouting mission. Captain Levi did the explanation and same with Petra.
             Captain Levi: "I'm guessing that all of you are wondering why your here doing a scouting mission today. Well here's your damn answer everyone. We're on this mission because we need to see if any more Titans will appear and where they're coming from. If we can do that then we can finally put a stop the Titans once and for all. Now....get your sorry asses ready to move out again!"
             Petra: "Plus, we're also on this mission to see if there are more Titans that are like Eren here. If we can do that as well, we might be able to stop the Titans that way too, once and for all. Don't forget that"
           Captain Levi: "Don't just stand there your idiots! Move and now, because we're leaving right now!"
           Everyone: "Yes sir"
           They started to pack things up and got back on to their horses. Mikasa and Annie we're the first ones done. Then, their scouting mission for a way to defeat the Titans starts yet again. As they do so, all of the girls surround Mikasa and Annie. They halted their horses at the same time.
            Annie: "Hmph! What's going on now!"
            Ymir: "Woah! Grumpy as always I see"
           Historia gently punches Ymir's right arm. Ymir stops laughing and she looks at Historia then back at Annie now.
          Historia: "Ignore her Annie. Now, we all have a question for the both of you"
          Both Mikasa and Annie looked at each other and then back at the rest of the girls.
          Both Mikasa and Annie: "What kind of question?"
          Historia shows them the picture of Mikasa and Annie sleeping. They gasped and they looked at them all.
          Annie (pissed off): "Who took this picture damnit?"
         Mikasa grabs Annie's arm and she looks at Mikasa.
         Mikasa (with worry in her eyes): "Calm yourself, don't cause a scene okay. It attracts attention that we don't want, Annie."
         Annie growls and she forces Mikasa's hand off of her arm. Mikasa gasped but she didn't seem to mind it.
         Ymir: "The question we want to ask you is this....are you guys an ITEM now!?"
        Both Mikasa and Annie gasped loudly: "A what?"
        Historia sighs and she grabs Ymir's right ear and pitches it hard.
        Ymir: "Ow! That's hurts Christa!"
        Historia: "You need to be more nice, Ymir. Don't just blurt it out like that!"
          Ymir (sighs): "Fine, I'll do better not....let....go....of....my....ear.... please"
          Historia let's go and Ymir grabs her ear in pain.
          Historia: "What Ymir was asking was....are you two dating or something? You guys look like your are extremely close too"
         Hanji: "Come on, out with it please. I want an answer from you two"
          Both Mikasa and Annie sighed heavily and they told everything from the beginning to now. Everyone listens in while Historia kept taming Ymir for her rude behavior towards Mikasa and Annie as they spoke.
             Both Mikasa and Annie: "Looks like.... we've been caught"
           Ymir: "You think so! Heh! I wasn't expecting this type of answer one bit, not at all."
          There they have it, their relationship was discovered. Mikasa and Annie wanted to wait a bit longer but they're worst fear became reality now. How will all of the girls react to this shocking information between Mikasa and Annie? And how will it affect the relationship between them?
