Chapter 13: Date at the Amusement Park

Author's note: Hello everyone, and welcome back to the latest update on this book. As you should know, this book will be coming to an end soon. I know, I know but fear not, I'm making another book related to this. This book, it's name Mikannie vol 1: Annie Please Wake Up, volume 2 is right after this one. Now, let's get this part started shall we?

Mikasa's P.O.V.
I was waking up with a heaviness on my body. I opened my eyes to see Annie laying on of me. I chuckled softly to myself and I stroked her face. I chuckled softly to myself and she remained asleep. I looked at the clock and it was only six o'clock in the morning. So I went back to sleep while holding Annie in my arms. We both remained asleep until our apartment's door bell went off. Annie groans loudly as it woke her up. I gently got out of bed telling her to stay in bed. I left our bedroom with a black tank top and red shorts on. I got to our front door and I looked through the peep hole on the door. I wanted to see who was here at this hour. It was none other than my younger step brother, Eren. What!? Why is he here!? I thought as I got ready to open the door. I opened it and Eren looked at me.
Eren: "Hey, Mikasa, can I come in?"
Me (shocked): "Uh....Y-yeah, sure come on in."
Eren slowly walks into the apartment of mine. He looked around the room and looked at me.
Eren: "So....this is where you live now huh? It looks big enough for two people. Do you have a roommate or something?"
Me (hesitates): "Well....you could say that but-"
Annie (from our bed): "Mikasa are you making breakfast?"
Eren: "Oh so someone is here. Wait a minute. Was that Annie? I know her voice."
Me (sighs): "Yeah, I'm living with Annie because she's my girlfriend."
Eren (shocked): "You're....you are dating her!?"
Me: "Yes, I'm dating her, what's wrong with that?"
Eren (still shocked): "Nothing sis, it just shocked me was all."
I walked into the kitchen to start making breakfast. I looked over my left shoulder to look at Eren.
Me: "So....what really brought you here, Eren?"
Eren: "Nothing much, just wanted to see where you were living at really."
Annie slowly comes out of our bedroom. She was dressed, thank goodness. She yawns and rubs her eyes tiredly. I walked over to her to hug her. She immediately hugs me back as I make us breakfast. Eren watches us hug, I stopped hugging Annie. I finished making breakfast, so, I gave Annie a plate.
Annie (tiredly): "Why is your brother here, Mikasa?"
Me: "He just wanted to found out where I was living at is all."
Annie hums as she ate some of her breakfast. Then she kisses my right cheek before walking to the dinning room table. Eren blushed when Annie kissed me on the cheek. Eren soon leaves my apartment to back at home with our parents, well his parents. They are my adopted family. I sat down at the table with Annie and we ate our breakfast in silence. Annie was the one who broke the silence.
Annie: "Are we going anywhere today, love?"
Me: "I was thinking about the amusement park that just opened nearby."
Annie: "Oh! That actually sounds like a lot of fun. Let's go there, it'll be our first and official date."
Me: "Sounds like great plan, Annie."
We left around six o'clock and we walked over to the amusement park. We did most of the rides like the ferris wheel, and bumping cars. I had something special planned for me and Annie. In my pocket was a small black box. When we were in the Ferris wheel, I got on one knee in front of Annie. Annie gasps loudly covering her mouth with both hands. She knew what I was planning to do. I grabbed the small box from my pocket. I opened it and there was a red diamond ring inside.
Me: "Annie, I know that we're been dating for two years now. I think it's time to ask you. On my bent knee, here tonight, I've been wanting to ask you this for some time now. I love you with all of my heart. I would gladly give you my life. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I want to grow old with you. I want to have a family with you if that's possible. Annie you are my one....my only....Annie- *I took a deep breathe* Will you marry me?"
Annie literally jumped into my arms wrapping her arms right around my neck. I fell down with her on top of me. She squeezes my neck hard, then she sat up crying.
Annie: "Yes! Yes!"
Me: "She said yes!"
We laughed happily as I put the ring on Annie's ring finger. Annie stares at it for a long time before looking at me. I looked back at her and she immediately grabbed me then kisses me hard on the lips. We are now engaged! We kissed and had a short time of sex inside the Ferris wheel. I've never seen Annie so happy. Everyone in the ground lever learned about our engagement and everyone cheered and congratulated us. We had so much fun at the amusement park. Little did I know, Annie was pregnant with our first child. We went home with me carrying a sleeping Annie on my back. I unlocked our front door then locked it again. We bought a huge black dog to guard the apartment. I petted him then went off to our bedroom. I placed Annie on the bed as gently as I could manage. She was wake for a moment. She placed her left hand (with the ring still on) on my face.
Annie: "Mikasa, today was the best day of my life. Thank you!"
Me: "I'll do anything for you, Annie. I love you."
Annie: "I love you too."
We went to sleep happily into the night with our engagement rings on.

Author's note: Oh my gosh!! I've finally updated!! I've finally uploaded the next to last chapter/part for you!! I'm so, so, so, so sorry it took so long to upload this for you all. I was off....fighting suicidal thoughts lately. I lost my job and life just sucks. It sucks even more because of the Coronavirus. I hope you all are going alright, my wonderful readers.
