The Meeting

I looked up to see that Kai was hugging me. Why does he do these things, he pushes your buttons then he comforts you. I just can't believe I told him that, he could just use it and I'll be done for. Kai isn't the same boy that I cared deeply for, he was different because of his own father sending him to the prison world. What could change in you for the whole 18 years in isolation. I hugged Kai holding him. My crying stopped, because of Kai. I am also a different person, after those 18 years of running from the Gemini Coven. I had feelings for him but I had to be careful of what I did or say.

"Thank you Kai," I let go of him and I smiled.

"Your um...w-w-welcome," he let go of me and he looked very awkward of what he did.

"I am going to turn in, good night Kai." I started to walk towards the stairs.

"Wait Elizabeth can I stay here for tonight, just for the night until_...I cut him off. "Yeah you can sleep on the couch." I walked to my downstairs closet to grab two blankets and a pillow. while I had turned around his two hands in his pockets, just waiting.

"Here," I walked towards the couch and set the things on the couch. I smiled at him and walked towards the stairs once again. "Good night Kai," I walked up the stairs to my bedroom. I opened the door to see my knecklace was on the night stand. I grabbed it and looked at it, just reflecting what happened. I set the knecklace down and went towards my closet. I grabbed a white loose t-shirt and a pair of grey shorts. I slipped them on and put my hair in a ponytail. I slipped into bed and sank into bed falling into deep deep sleep.

~2 hours later~
I heard someone screaming and crying. I quickly got out of my bed forgetting that Kai was downstairs. I went down stairs to see that Kai was screaming and crying on the couch. The first thing that I needed to do was wake him up. I got in front of the couch and tried shaking Kai up. Then I saw his hand grab my arms and started to squeeze, "Kai wake up it's me, Elizabeth."

He then stood up on the couch realizing what he jus done and let go of me. "Sorry, often I relive the time I got sent to the prison world."

He looked guilty for hurting me. I looked at him and was rubbing my arm, "it's okay Kai I understand."

"Look I need to leave before I hurt you again." He got up and I saw his hot body. He was going to grab his shirt and was going to slip it on.

I grabbed his shirt from his reach, "you can still stay here tonight Kai." I gave him an assuring smile.

"I'll stay here tonight, but can I sleep with you." He was like a little puppy, his eyes just made me feel so vunerable to say no.

"Fine you can sleep with me, but we have our own sides. You stay on yours and I stay on mine, got that?" I folded my arms on my chest.

"Okay that's a deal." He was so happy, so he grabbed his shirt from my hand and went up the stairs.

I followed Kai towards the door of my bedroom. I walked inside first, to get into bed. I playfully rolled on my side of my bed.

"The other side is yours." I gestured him that he can get on his side of the bed so he wouldn't be standing in front of the doorway all night.

I saw him plop down on my bed. I was bouncing up and down for a bit. "Good night, Ellie," I saw him smile.

"Good night, Kai." I smiled at him then with his droopy eyes he smiled back.
