Taeyeon was lying on a bed of the hospital. She was alone, she had an accident the day before, but nobody visited her.
Luckily she wasn't seriously injured, but cause of the wounds, she had to stay at the hospital for a few days. Even so, no one cared enough about her to go and check on her or just to keep her company.
It was nothing new that everybody hated her, but she still hoped someone would show up. It would really make her happy to have someone to visit her like the other patients.
That day it didn't happen. She waited until midnight before being sure no one would come.
Tiffany was here. She came to visit her, but she knew it wasn't something to be happy about. Tiffany looked really serious and angry.
"Why do you always have to ruin everything?" She wasn't shouting, yet those words held so much anger and frustration. "We had to record a new song, yet you had to be a little attention seeker like always!"
It wasn't anything new. Some years after their debut, Tiffany started to have some hatred against Taeyeon, and since then she would always blame Taeyeon for anything.
"If you came here just to tell me this, you can leave Tiffany." She said tiredly. She didn't really want to fight.
"Everyone will leave you. How many friends do you still have by your side? One? Two? Soon they will get tired of you. You know that, don't you?" She spatted her venom to Taeyeon who, even if hurt, was wearing a blank expression.
"Everyone will leave you." She repeated.
Seeing that her words didn't trigger any reaction, Tiffany left.
"They always do." She whispered to no one.
She was alone again.
Since she couldn't do many things, she decided to read. She was really engrossed in the reading when her phone rang. It was her father.
"Hello? Dad?"
"Taeyeon? I need to talk to you." She was starting to feel anxious. It was never a good sign when somebody tells you that you need to talk.
"What happened?"
For a few seconds her father didn't talk. "Listen to me and don't let me repeat it: don't call or visit me anymore. I don't want to see you again."
He ended the call.
"Dad? Dad?" She was so confused. Why did her father not want to see her? What had happened?
She tried to call him, but he never answered her calls. A tear rolled down her cheek, but she hastily wiped it. She didn't want to cry, if she did then she wouldn't stop any time soon. She was sure of that.
Even her father had left her. She felt more alone than ever.
A knock interrupted her reading again. Jiyong entered the room.
Jiyong and her had been friends for years, but their relationship had never been clear. They were friends and lovers at the same time. They were only friends, but they would kiss sometimes, and even sleep together, yet they would say they aren't dating.
They were just happy to spend time together and would understand each other perfectly, like nobody could.
That was why Taeyeon affectionately called him 'her hero', she couldn't survive without him. She wasn't strong enough for that.
A big smile appeared on Taeyeon's face.
"Ji! I'm so happy to see you. I didn't expect you to be here. How are you? I heard you're making a comeback this..."
"I don't want to see you anymore." He interrupted her.
She was shocked. This was the second time in a day somebody told her they didn't want to see her anymore.
What was happening? Was this all a joke?
"What are you saying, Ji? Did something happen? " she asked worriedly.
"My family says you are bad news and I shouldn't be your friend anymore." He said seriously.
Taeyeon was speechless.
"Ji, can we talk about this? I'm sorry if I made something wrong, I could talk with your family and..."
"You won't get anywhere near my family!" He shouted. "I don't want to see you again. Goodbye, Taeyeon."
"You have been a really good friend." She whispered.
He too left.
A few days after, Taeyeon was finally free to leave the hospital. She has been crying and feeling hurt and alone for the past days. Since the day everyone decided to leave her.
She still didn't know why they didn't want to see her anymore. She didn't want to discover the reason. It could hurt her even more, and she thought they were happier without her.
She didn't have anybody. Her friends, her family, her hero left her.
She was completely alone, that was why she had decided to go where everything began.
The Han river.
While she was walking down the bridge above the river, she could almost see the young little girl who, just days before debuting, was shouting at sky she could do it. That she was strong enough to pursue her dream to be a singer.
She could see herself shouting "I can do it! I can do it!" continuously.
At that time she had almost believed she could really do it. And she could when she still had her hero by her side.
Now she didn't have him anymore, and all her energies and happiness had left her.
She sat on the edge of the bridge, looking at the sky for the last time.
"I really couldn't do it."
She jumped.
