Chapter 4

Riley P.O.V

"Class tomorrow all of you have to be here on time because I'm not going to repeat the project over again"

Mr.James got everyone's attention before packing their bags.

"Where to my leader" Harry says walking beside me out the door.

"Math with Mr.Robert" I look behind me incase Blake is waiting for me. He always waits for me to drop my books or just annoy me with name calling.

"Abby look the freak is with the new guy" I hear Jessica one of her clan say to Abby. She turns around and laughs.

"You shouldn't be with the freak, she might give you a disease" Abby and Jessica laugh walking away.

I put my head down in embarrassment. Great the one person who is actually talking to me is going to start calling me freak.

"So Mr.Robert is he nice like Mr.James?" Harry says calmly

I look up at him, he was staring back at me with caring eyes.

I look away from his green piercing eyes. We continue walking down the hall in silence.

We pass by a group of girls and they kept checking Harry out. I felt a bit of jealously. Wait jealously? I just met him?

"Ello Riley" Mr.Robert says in a fake British accent. He was waiting at the door. Once the door is close your marked absent no matter if your a little late.

"Hi sir" I say walking in the half empty class. Thank god this is a academic math.

"Harry Styles new kid" I walk pass Ally a quiet girl who says hi to me in the halls. She's really nice but I don't hang with her because I don't want her to get bullied for being around me.

"Welcome to the fun class" Mr.Robert says excited. I sit down at the back close to the window. Harry walks down the aisle and sits beside me. There's so many empty seats and he chooses to sit with the freak.

"Take out last nights homework and a red pen" Mr.Robert starts writing on the board. I take out my notebook and text book. Harry looks inside his bag for something. He looks deep in thought pulling out books,pencils and garbage.

"You need to clean your bag out because I think I just saw flies coming out of it" I laugh even more when he looks around looking for the flies.

"Ha ha very funny...... Do you have a extra pen?" He takes out a book with a rose one the cover. It looked so beautiful, I couldn't keep my eyes off it.

"You like it?" He snaps me out of my thoughts. I look at him he was half smiling.

"Yeah it's beautiful, did you draw it?" His cheeks turned a shade of pink.

"Yeah I did, I draw in my spare time" I hand him the pen I found.

"Riley do you have something to say to the class?" Mr.Robert says getting everybody to look at us. I shake my head no and he starts the lesson.

I walk down the road towards home, music blasting from my earphones drowning todays events. Jeremy and Blake put garbage inside my locker again, thank god Harry wasn't with me. he seems like a good person, his tattoos are pretty cool and the lip and eyebrow piecing makes him look hot. Wait? What the hell is wrong with you Riley? he's new and never will notice you that way..... Wait do I have a crush on him? I shake my head from these stupid thoughts.

"Riley,Riley?" I hear someone yelling from behind me I see Josh running towards me with his backpack in his arms and bags in the other.

"Holy Shit........You walk way to fast......Jeez I need to work out more" He holds his chest trying to get his breath back to normal. I chuckle as he leans on me prending to faint.

"Whats in the bags?" I ask following him to the store as he unlocks it. I turn on the lights taking out my jacket.

"My dad has noticed you haven't been eating in school so he send me to the supermarket to get you food" He drops the bags on the counter taking out boxes of cookies,crakers,pasta,cans of coke and fruits.

"I told you guys not to worry about me........ I have food upstairs" I try to lie to him but he knows me to well. He gave me 'are you kidding' look.

"You really think I'm going to believe you? You usually come downstairs to buy food, leaving me a note with money." Told you he knows me to well, I roll my eyes at him while he puts his hands on his hips like a worried mother.

"Is everything good at school?" I felt my heart beat fast, crap he knows something. I pretended to look inside my bag for something to not look at his begging eyes.

"Shit I'm gonna be late for class..... Don't think this talk is over Riley" he pointed at me before leaving the store. I just notice I was holding my breath, I sigh really loud making myself lightheaded.

I walk behind the counter dropping my bag in the corner. I put on my earphones and take out my homework to entertain myself.

"Ding dong" the stupid bell Josh put on the door so every time someone comes in it to rings. I look up to see Blake walking down the aisle to the drink section. I quickly put my hoodie on before he sees me. If he knows I work here his gonna tell Jeremy and they will come everyday to annoy me.

"Excuse you don't have anymore sandwiches?" He snaps me out of my thoughts. I shake my head no as he walks up to the counter.

"It's $2.25" I punch in the buttons, avoiding his eyes. He looked at me weird but dugs in his pocket taking out his wallet. He throws the coins across the counter.

I give him his change looking down, I softly hear him thank me and the bell rings.

I look up making sure he left. I try to breathe through my nose and out my mouth to relax myself.

If they know where I work my safe place will be ruined..........
