"If your looking for a job just tell me and I'll get you one at the diner" Uncle Sam seemed to like Riley and she looked happy to be here.
"Thank you" she smiled brightly. Tyler was smirking at me. I rolled my eyes and grabbed her bag.
"No Harry I can walk home"
"No it's to late for you to walk alone in the dark" I open the car door for her. She sighs turning around. She waves goodbye to them but Uncle Sam hugged her instead. She stands awkwardly but hugs him back.
"Where to my leader?" I drive down the road.
"U-U-Uh just 2 blocks away" she seemed nervous which was weird.
"Your parents are okay with you coming home late?" I stop at the red light and look at her.
She nods rubbing her legs looking outside. I pass two street lights and she points to the left. It was a neighborhood with huge houses.
"Whoa you live here?" I was surprised at the view.
"Y-Yeah" she smiles but it looked like a force one.
"Thank you for having me for dinner.... I really had a good time" she grabs her bag and opens the door. I gently grab her arm turning her to me. She looked at me confused.
I give her a tight hug, to me it seemed she really needed one.
"Have a goodnight sleep Riles" I let her go smiling. She chuckles closing the door. I wave before driving down the street.
I need to get into her life. I need to know why they call her freak and why she's so scared.
