"Monica!" My mom calls, ruining our moment, just like my recent fantasy scene.

I turn around, breaking my gaze from Jesse.

"Yeah mom?"

"Let's go."

"Okay," I turn to Jesse,"See you later?"

"Sure, what hotel you staying at?"

"Ocean Fortress Hotel," my mother interrupts.

"Me too. Want to meet me in the lobby at seven?"

"Sure," I say and walk back to our spot, my sunglasses on my face, and his bracelet around my wrist.

When we get to our hotel room, I check the time. It's five forty-five. My parents are going down to take a walk around the block. They left hand in hand. I decide to visit Neverland again. If that one trip came true, maybe the next will.

I lay on the bed and close my eyes, immediately transporting myself into a better life.

I am in a bar, surrounded by nothing. There is just one other person, my earlier savior. He makes his way over.

"Thanks for meeting me," he says.

"No problem," I respond.

"Okay shall we discuss the plan?"

"Yes, who is our target," I tell him, playing my part.

"My arch nemesis Stanley."

"Alright. Plan of action?"

We continue to talk, working out every detail. We set up a spot to meet in one day. I transport back home, wondering how this will all play out back in reality. Or now, real Neverland.

My parents take me out to dinner, not arguing even once. This is rare. Hardly ever do I witness this. They haven't fought once on the vacation, they acted like a newly wedded couple even. They are playing their parts in this Neverland, called reality, perfectly. All this is freaking me out a bit. Why all of the sudden is this coming true? Sixteen years of suffering through it all, and it suddenly changes. Right after I adapted to it.

We ordered and the food came fairly quickly. My dad constantly told jokes, making me and my mom laugh so hard the food would spit out of our mouths. It's just like old times.

Finally seven o'clock rolls around. I lazily walk down the carpeted hallway to the elevators. I am the only one on this particular elevator. I look out the back part, which is covered in window panes. I can see the other elevators from across the way. Each elevator is dropping floors by the second, as if in a race with the other. In one of them I see a figure shimmering in the glass, as if it's a reflection. But as soon as I blink, it's gone. It think it must be my mind playing tricks on me. I just shake it off and think of Jesse. The elevator finally stops, and I walk out. The lobby is filled with couches and chairs, small ponds, newsstands, and assistance desks. How can I find Jesse in such a huge lobby?

I scan everywhere, but I can't find him. I start to walk to one of the ponds on my right when he jumps out and squeezes my hips. It scares the living day lights out of me! I let out a loud shriek, but with a slight giggle. Heads turn toward us from all over the lobby. I just laugh it off, causing them to lose interest and look away.

"Boo," he says mockingly.

In reply, I punch him in the arm. He just laughs at me. Guess my punch wasn't as affective as I though. We wander over to a couch and plop down, sinking into the too squishy cushions.
