I woke up to padding of little toes to my left coming to my right side. I felt a tug on my arm and I opened up my eyes to see Griffin smiling down at me.
"Well good morning lovely!" I smiled petting her crazy hair down back to its original silk straight flow.
She smiled and started to tug me until I fell out of bed.
"Ow." I sat up and rubbed my butt.
She covered her mouth with both of her hands. I raised an eyebrow at her and stood up. "You think that's funny hm?"
She quickly shook her head no at me but kept her hands on her mouth. "Move your hands then."
She shook her head no again and her eyes crinkled up. Her freckles dotting across her nose bridge. Brown eyes sparkling with joy.
I stood myself up and started walking slowly over to her. "No? Then I'll just have to tickle you!"
She quickly dropped her hands then waved her hands saying no. Her face was straight but a smile tugged at her lips. I ran full tilt towards her and picked her up tickling her in my arms. She was giggling in my arms squirming for freedom.
"Haven't seen her laugh like that in ages." I stopped and Griffins laughter was cut short. "It must be a good thing you are here."
I let Griffin go and she ran right out of my room. I looked up to see one of the older boys, the one that was in the leather chair.
"She likes you a lot." I nodded at his words.
"I hope so."
"Colton." He stuck his hand out to mine and I couldn't help but jump when I got shocked when our hands met.
I looked up to his eyes and I could see gold flecks dancing amonst his bright blue eyes. My heart fluttered when I realized how attractive he is. He was tall and built but not to built. His hair a messy blonde. His smile absolutely gorgeous, pearly white teeth hiding behind soft pink lips.
"Jade." I got tingles just from shaking his hand and once he let go of me they were gone. I felt cold and sad when he took a step away from me. He looked like he was holding something back. Hes so hot! What is wrong with you Jade get a hold of yourself.
"I know." He laughed, his eyes crinkling in the corners, his perfect smile breaking through, I wanted to melt then and there. "Miles just got your wardrobe filled. I could bring you there to get dressed, then you could maybe help me make breakfast for everyone?"
"Yes." He raised an eyebrow at me and I mentally smacked myself. "Sure, yeah let's do that."
"Alright." He turned around to leave my room and I could see his back muscles through his shirt, would it be weird if I just, jumped on him?
"So, why are you guys here?" I asked and his back stiffened.
"I don't think it's my place to tell you. If you really want to know, ask Miles. He will tell you the truth."
"Oh. Alright." I clicked the ground a little sad that he stopped our conversation so short.
"I mean, I want to- I'd love to tell you. It's just... Miles should say it." I smiled up at him and shook my head.
