Getting the ring

*7 years later*

Jade's P.O.V

I was in my four grade class. I was tapping my pencil on my desk looking at the clock. The clock was going slow. I wish the clock can go fast like Barry and Wally. I felt something hit my head and I turned around to see, my best friend, Bre throwing a paper ball at me. I looked very confuse. "What?" I whispered. "Jade look." She pointed to the window. I looked out the window and saw nothing. I sighed and looked backed at her confused. "Dude why did you just make me looked out the window?" I asked. "Dude there's a guy standing there." She told me. I looked again and no body was there. I sighed and looked at the teacher who was explaining about the history of California. (Well part of it.) Then the bell rang. Bre and I grab our stuff and walked out. "Dude I can't believe you didn't see him." She told me. I just looked confused. Her and I just shrugged it off. I was going to tell her about what I wish would happen when I heard some one shout my name. I looked around and saw Wally shouting my name. "WALLY" I shouted. I ran to him and give him a big huge. "Dude what are you doing here?" I asked. "I'm here to pick you up silly." I giggled and got into the car. To my surprised Dick was sitting in the diver seat. "Hey dick." I said. He looked in the mirror and saw me. "Hey Jade." He said. Wally got in and smiled. I sighed as the car started. Dick and Wally were talking about something that I didn't know. We were almost to my house until a yellow beam stop us. Dick quickly open the door and told Wally to get out of there with me. Wally use his super speed and grabbed me and got out. I looked to see who was the yellow lantern jerk and saw a women I looked confused who it was. Wally and dick ran into an ally way and turned into Kidflash and Nightwing. I was happy but not really because Wally put me some where, were the yellow lantern could see me. I was a little bit mad because I wanted to fight to but since it was a yellow lantern I couldn't. I sighed but I didn't give up I had the will power to fight her. As soon as I was about to go and fight. I felt something lift me up the ground. I didn't scream because I was confused. Then I was flying threw the air into the desert. I looked all around then I was placed safely. I the saw a space ship crash. I ran to it to see if anyone got hurt. I saw an alien in it I ran to them to make sure they were alive. "Jade Jordan its nice to finally meet you." They said. I looked at them confused but also considered. I ran to them. "Are you okay? Do you need me to get someone?" I asked them very considered if they were okay. "No, I just need to talk to you." They said covering the huge wound. I was about to say some thing but they stopped me. "Do you know the green lantern corp?" I nodded. "Then you know about the rings and that they choose people." I nodded again confused. They then told me what happen and that the ring lead them here to me. "The ring choose you young Jordan." I looked at them confused. "Me I'm just a ten year old girl." I told them. "I know but the ring is never wrong." They hand me the ring. "Go to Oa the guardians well be waiting for you." They told me. They told me not to tell my dad and died. I looked at the confused but then realized that Wally and Dick would be looking for me. I used the ring to get me to the stop I was in. I saw Wally and Dick was done fighting I ran to them. "Oh, Jade there you are Wally was about to go look for you again." Dick told me. I nodded then told dick I was going to a friends house. "Okay. Do you want me to tell your dad or Wally." "Wally" I said as I walked off. When I knew I was far from any one to see. I put on the ring and it gave me a cool looking suit:

I look awesome. I smiled to myself. I looked to make such no one was looking and flew up I told myself don't look down because I'm scared of highest. I then took a deep breath and close my eyes. When I opened them I saw I was in space. I gasp its so cool. "Alright how do I get to Oa." I asked myself. With out realizing it my ring start to glow. When I looked at it, it made a green line north west. I followed the green line. Then with out think I stated to fly faster. I must of past ten planets or more till I got there. I looked at what I think is Oa. It so cool looking. I flew in and looked around it had a lot of different Green lanterns. I kinda got scared being around them but I women up and started to find the guardians.

I found the guardians place. It looked like the court rooms we have here except no one was there beside who I guessing is the guardians. "Green lantern 145627 you can enter." One of the said my ring kinda glowed from that. I enter the room with out think. I looked around it was kinda cool. When they looked at me. They didn't really looked surprised to find me. "Hmmm, So she did die." I looked at the confused. "New lantern what is your name." One of them asked me. I took a deep breath. "Jade...Jade Jordan" I told them. The looked at me. "Are you Hal Jordan's child?" They asked me. I nodded to them. They then discuss something. "HAL JORDAN WE NEED YOU IN OA." They shouted. I covered my ears since it was loud. I then heard some one come feeling in. I turned around to see my dad. "What is it? Is Sinestero back?" He asked passing and not seeing me. "No, but we do have a new lantern that may alarm you." told one of the guardians to my dad. My dad must of looked confused until he turned around to see me. I kind chuckled nervelessly at him. He looked at me then to the guardians then back at me. "This is a joke right. My daughter can't be a green lantern." He said. "Hal remember the ring chooses the person not the person chooses the ring." "It must of thought she was ready for something greater." The guardians said. I looked at my dad who sighed. "I know its just that shes ten years old not ready to fight anything yet." He told them. I looked at him then sighed. "Dad come on I know how to fight I'm not as little as I used to be." I explain to him. My dad looked at my and sighed again. "I know it's just that I want you to have a normal childhood." He told me. I looked at him. "Dad, my friend thought she saw a guy at our window when no ones there, I help Wally out on a missions, and I not a normal kid. If anything I kinda of a weird kid." I told him. He sighed again. "Jade your too young and I don't want you to be a hero or a sidekick yet." I kinda got mad at this point but I kept my cool. "Well Dick stared at 10 so did Wall and Roy.( Oh carp who else)" I told him. He sighed and looked at the guardians. They told him I had a point on this one. He looked at me and sighed again. "Alright fine. Training starts tomorrow." "Yes." I told myself. Dad and I left the guardians place and went back to earth. All that time he explained to me about the green lanterns. He also told me about the other lanterns when he got to blue he stopped flying. He sighed. Then mutters something I didn't understand. I looked at him confused. "Dad what did you-" "Don't worry about princess."He cut me off. "Oh okay dad." I said.

When we got to earth there was a yellow lantern attacking the city. Dad groaned and told me just to watch not to fight. "*sigh" Fine" I told him. I watch him fight the weird yellow lantern. I felt so board. I looked backed at the fight and saw her soccer punch him in the back. I kind got mad at that. "HEY THAT"S A WEAK MOVE!!" I shouted. She looked at me. "Oh, is it?" She asked with a smirk. "Um, Yeah it shows your not strong enough to fight someone." I told her. She didn't like what I said. I smiled. She started to attacked me but I luckily just blocked most of them. I was kinda surprised about this. She then try to go behind me but just in the nick of time I caught her fist. I smiled but then she punch my stomach. I let go of her fist. I kind almost fell but I stayed in mid air. I looked at her and she tried to punch me again I move a little bit and fell flew right into a building. I kind laugh because it was funny. Dad looked at me impressed and handcuffed her. "Alright, you go home and I'm taking her to Oa, Kay?" He asked me. "Kay." I said. When I got home I opened the door to see Dick claiming down Wally. I looked confused. "Umm, Guys..." Wally saw me and ran up to me giving me the biggest hug. "First what the hell are you guys doing in my house second why is Wally crying." I asked confused. "We'll explain later Green lantern." Dick said with a little smirk. I looked at him. "How did you..." I looked down and realized I didn't take of the ring so I was in my green lantern suit. "Oh." I said embarrassed and took off the ring so no one else could see. Wally looked at me and smiled. "Oh, Wait till Uncle Barry founds out about this." He then goes on about somethings I didn't really know. Dick just chuckled at the jabbering Wally. I just giggled and watch him go on about how he can't wait to explain what he saw on the news.
