He asked her what the girl's favorite color was.
He asked her when the girl's birthday is.
He stared at the girl all the time.
His eyes lit up when he saw the girl.
He blushed around this girl.
He always asked this girl to hang out.
He was very nice to the girl.
I am the girl. Why was I so blind.

So Regan told me Braxtin liked me. I didn't believe it. But then she gave me a list, similar to the one above, and I realized I was so blind.
Awesome thing is, I saw Braxtin yesterday. My family and his were meeting up at a parade. My dad said "Isn't this the family with the boy I don't like (referring to Braxtin)?" My mom said yes. We walked to their car and sat next to them.
Soon after, Braxtin, Taya (his older sister), and what I am assuming was Taya's friend, asked me if I wanted to go with them to get some doughnuts (the parade hadn't started yet). I said yes, even though I wasn't going to buy anything. Of course, my younger brother Caleb came along. Why?!
We had quiet conversation to and from the doughnut shop. Once we were back to our chairs, we got on the topic of how we were in different homeschool groups. I said "Yeah. It sucks cause Caleb has a crush there." Braxtin started saying stuff like "ooh" and then I started talking about the love letter Caleb wrote to her. Then he said stuff like "woah that's serious!".
But then, Caleb was like, "You wanna know Rebekah's crush? He is standing right in front of her." Thankfully, I recovered easily saying, "Caleb, why do you just think I like people just because. I don't tell you or anything and you just assume I do."
Later, my dad started talking about dirt bikes. He joked about getting me one, but my mom said I'm to afraid of getting dirty, like I'm some diva princess. I said I'm not afraid of dirt, and Braxtin came to my rescue to prove it by rubbing some dirt on my arm.
Apparently, my parents and his mom thought that means he has a crush on me, and kept bugging him with questions. And all he did was blush!
Throughout the whole parade, Braxtin was very sweet to me. If I wasn't able to get any candy, he shared his with me. He was so nice!! By the end, we all had to go. We started setting up times to see each other, but mainly left that to our moms.
The love I felt with him was so different then anything I've ever felt. It was overwhelming, but in a good way. It was so real.
Anyways, that is what happened. Sorry I haven't been updating. But I hope this relationship grows into something more😊.
