Intertwined hands. The nice, cool breeze brushing up against your skin. The quick glances and smiles you exchanged with one another.

Kai and you were taking a stroll through the park. Every time you caught him looking at you, you would just laugh like an idiot. His eyes softened when he looked at you. Kai had two different sides, when he was on stage and when he was off stage. When onstage, he was charismatic, his somewhat sexy side. Offstage he was this completely dorky, sweet guy. No one knew him better than you did. Not even his fellow members.

You loved every single thing about him. His amazing smile that made you head over heels and his personality. That attracted you the most to him. Looks were nothing, personality was everything you looked for in a partner. A SEOULmate.

"Jea, let's carve our initials into a tree." Kai said leading you to a tree. He took out his car keys and started carving. He took a step back admiring his "work". You smiled.
'K+J' was carved on it. The initials were encircled by a heart. It made your heart skip a beat.

10 Years Later

Flowers were starting to bloom. The trees were swaying along to the breeze. Memories made its way through your mind. Those precious memories.

There were couples everywhere. From holding hands, to hugging. Even some having a picnic alongside the green grass.

The gap between your fingers. The one person who's hands fit perfectly with yours. Your SEOULmate. The one person you loved the most. The one who always seemed to make your day go by faster and better. The one person who said he loved you every single day. He was gone. Gone. Forever.

You made your way to the tree where the both of your initials were carved on. As if it were freshly carved. 'K+J' encircled with a heart. Kim Jong In. Kai. He was in a car accident 10 years ago. You were devastated. Shutting everything around you out. No contact with friends or family after the tragic accident. That was what you did. It was terrible, but your whole life was going through a black hole. That's what it felt like. As if it'll never find it's way back. Disappearing forever. After a couple years, you healed slowly. Day after day, it was easier. You'll never forget him, but you couldn't let his death effect your life forever. He was gone. There was nothing you could do about it now. Kai wasn't going to magically come to life again and be part of your life. It was time to let go of him.

You hated coming to the park because there were memories everywhere. The swing. The place you shared your first kiss together. The bench. He first said 'I love you'.

"You have no idea how much I miss you, Kai." A tear slowly escaped from your eye.
