"Avery, do you want to go outside and make a snowman like we used to when we were small?" You said through into your sister's door waiting for an answer.

"Go away, Alexa!" Avery said through the door.

You slowly walked away. You then called your boyfriend over and asked him if he wanted to come over and make a snowman with you. No matter how childish it sounded, you can never be to old to make a snowman. He said he'll be over in 10.

*10 minutes pass*

Kris is finally here. Those ten minutes felt as if they were literally 10 hours.

"Alexa?" Kris said knocking on the door.

"I'm coming~" You rushed quickly to the door to answer the door for your loving boyfriend.

"Hey I missed you!" Before you could say anything, you were engulfed in his arms.

"I missed you too." He pulled away from the hug.

"Let's get started on building that snowman shall we." He said then led you outside to the winter snow. *I know it isn't Winter anymore, but let's just pretend. lol*

Avery was in her room watching you make a snowman with Kris. She was sad. Avery was born with a special yet cursed power. Everything she touched would turn to ice. That was the reason why sh would always wear gloves. She never came out of her room because she didn't want to hurt you or your parents.

She kept herself locked in her room ever since you two were small. It was weird, you always remembered having good times in the snow with Avery. Maybe there was something that you just didn't remember that caused you two to not be as close as before.

Avery got the courage and got into warm clothes and headed outside to join you two.

The door opened, then closed. You wondered who it was that came outside. It probably wasn't Avery because she never leaves her room.

You looked up and saw the person who never thought you would see.

It was Avery. She was smiling.

"Can I join you two?" She asked. A smile quickly formed on your lips.

You stood up. "Of course you can!" You pulled her hand and led her to where Kris and you were building the snowman.

"Wow~ this looks amazing!" Avery said while taking a step back to admire the beautiful snowman you three created.

You dusted off the excess snow on your clothes and stepped back also.

"Best Snowman Ever~" Kris said which seemed to brighten the mood much more.

The three of you all had smiles on your faces.

This was the happiest day for you. For a long time, you weren't able to see Avery, but now that you did, she had a smile on her face which caused you to have one also.

After making the snowman, Kris wanted to treat Avery and you to some hot chocolate at EXO's CAFE.

"Avery want to tag along? We're going to EXO's for hot chocolate?" Kris asked Avery.

"Ummm.. I better not." Avery said then started walking towards the door. You walked up to Avery and pulled off one of her gloves.

"Avery, join us. Please." You said.

"Alexa please give it back." She grabbed for the glove, but your reflex was much faster so you dodged it.

"Come on Avery!" You said.

"Alexa maybe next time we can go all together. It's totally fine." Kris assured you.

"It's not ok Kris, I want her to join us because she's always in her room!" You raised your voice a little.

"Alexa stop being childish and give me back my glove! Don't play games with me!" At this point Avery was yelling and very angry.

"AVERY YOU KNOW WHAT, I MISS THE OLD YOU! THE ONE WHO WOULD ALWAYS PLAY DOLLS WITH ME WHEN I ASKED! PLAY TEA WITH ME WHEN NO ONE WOULD! WHERE'S THAT AVERY I KNOW... I WANT MY SISTER BACK!" You yelled with tears streaming down your cheek.

Avery got offended with what you said. She was now at the rage of anger.

*WHOOSH* Ice suddenly struck out of Avery's hand and somehow and hit your chest knocking the breath out of you. Your chest felt cold. It suddenly got hard to breath.

You were coughing hardly. Avery was scared of what she just had done. She panicked and ran away to who knows where.

"Alexa are you okay!!" Kris rushed towards you and caught you before you hit the hard snow on the pavement. "Did Avery just struck you with ice?! You're hair is turning white! Your ice cold!" Kris was scared.

"K-kris... get m-my parents.." You could barely say with the little breath you had.

Kris laid you down gently on the pavement and ran inside to get your parents.

After what seemed like a couple of seconds, Kris came back with your parents.

"What happened to my baby~" Your mom said grabbing you into her arms.

"Avery somehow struck Alexa's heart with ice." Kris explained the whole story too your parents.

"This has happened before. It was your head. That was much easier to fix, but since it's the heart, I don't know what will.." You dad replied.

"A true love's kiss will thaw a frozen heart." You mom said. It was as if she read it out of a love book.

"That's right! A true love's kiss!" Your dad repeated.

Kris looked into your eyes seeing how scared you were.

Kris, come on! Kiss my baby before she gets frozen." You mom said to Kris.

Kris didn't hesitate to kiss you right after hearing what your mom said.

When Kris pulled away, it felt as if your heart was actually melting. It was unbelievable.

"My baby's okay~" Your parents engulfed you into their arms and stroked your head.

"Where's Avery?" You said pulling away from both your parents. You were worried about your sister.

"I'll go look fro her. She's probably not that far. I'll be back. Kris take Alexa inside and make her sit near the fireplace to get warm." Your dad told Kris. It was more of a demand than a request, but Kris did exactly what he was told.

"Kris.." He looked at you with a worried face.

"Are you feeling any better?" Kris asked checking your forehead for your temperature.

"I'm fine, don't worry." You smiled at him. He kissed you on the nose.

"I'm glad you're ok now." Kris tucked a piece of your hair behind your ear. "You know, that was our first kiss..." He smiled to himself. "I was hesitant at first, but when I knew your life was on the line, I didn't have to think twice before my action spoke."

"I'm glad you did what you did." Kris kissed you again. This time it felt more expressed with love.

You leaned your head on his shoulder. The two of you sitting in front of the fireplace watching the wood burn and turn into ash.
