First encounter with Pennywise: while running away from his mother's drunken attacks he locked himself in his room, Pennywise knocked on the door in the form of Edith's father. Edith opened the door after hearing his voice but grew uneasy for some reason. Pennywise attacked but Edith slammed the door and locked it until Pennywise left.
