Coincidence

Kirstie's POV

Char and I walked down the street to Starbucks holding hands. She leans over and kisses my cheek which makes me blush.

"So... that phone call you got, how much did it scare you?"I asked.

"A lot. The heavy and raspy breathing was one thing, but when that person said, 'Go to sleep. Now!', that just scared the living crap out of me!"She exclaimed.

I gave her a kiss on the forehead and hugged her. We soon see Starbucks and run towards the entrance. We open the door and see Scott and Mitch sitting at a table. I wave and Mitch waves back. Scott was too busy paying attention to what was on his phone.

We sat down at the table and Scott was still paying attention to his phone. I took the phone from him and held it in my hand.

"Hey! I was looking at an article!"

"Too bad. Also, you could say hi at least."I said with a smirk on my face. Scott snatched the phone from my hand and said, "Hi. Happy?"

"Very."

"Also, I got a phone call. It started out with heavy breathing and than ended with someone saying, 'Go to sleep. Now!'"Char said.

Scott's face turned to a look of pure terror.

"The same thing happened to me too, Char."

"Really?"

Scott nodded and fumbled with his hands. "That's weird. Do you think it was a prank call of something?"I asked. Scott and Char shrugged their shoulders and played with their phones.

"That scares me, though. We both got the same call."Scott said and Char agreed.

Avi and Kevin walk in and spot us at the table and wave. We wave back at them and play on our phones.

"Late, as usual."I said. "Sorry."Avi said. I laughed and felt Char press her lips against my cheek.

"Get a room, you too."Mitch finally spoke up.

"Gladly."I said.

"Also, I got a phone call that began with heavy breathing. Then someone said, 'Go to sleep. Now!'"Avi said. My eyes widen as I realize what's happening. I felt as if what was happening was getting weird yet very scary.

"Same thing for me and Scott, Avi! We got the exact same phone call before we came here!"Char exclaimed.

Avi and Kevin's eyes widen and they furrow their eyebrows.

"What is happening, guys?"I asked.

"I don't know. But maybe it's just a coincidence."Mitch said. I looked at him as if I was saying, "Are you stupid?"

"What? I'm just throwing some suggestions out there."He said while taking a sip from his coffee.

I roll my eyes and hold hands with Char.

'Maybe it is just a coincidence.'I thought with a smirk on my face.
