Chapter 26

"Hmmmm" Brace woke up warm and snuggled tightly against Lex's side. God she could get use to waking up this way all the time! Turning over she grabbed her phone off the nightstand, knowing that she had a study group session and since she stayed over at Lex's she was going to have to leave earlier to get there in time. Ugh, 7:30am already! She just wanted to waste away the day snuggled in here with Lex but that Bio-Chem exam was going to kick her ass if she didn't get some help. Sliding out from under Lex's arm as she got up, heading into the washroom to have a shower, adjusting the water and climbing in. Since she didn't have any stuff here at all she had to make do with Lex's body wash and shampoo, which actually suited her just fine as she would smell like him all day, and hopefully keep her from missing him so much.

Coming out of the shower wrapped in a towel she faced the quandary of what to wear as her dress wasn't acceptable for study group, opting instead to grab some spare clothes of Lex's. A set of his boxer briefs would double as a pair of shorts and one of his t-shirts would be over-sized enough to cover that it was underwear and not shorts. Throwing her hair up in a mess ponytail, she sat on the edge of the bed and leaned in to give Lex a kiss before heading out. As her lips met his, he started to wake up, reaching up to tangle his fingers in her hair and pulling down her pony tail he deepened the kiss until they were both panting.

"Now that's the way to wake up in the morning!" he cracked his eyes open with a smirk

Laughing, "yeah well now you get a cold shower while I head out to study group!"

"What? Say it isn't so! Whose going to make sure my back is scrubbed he said with a playful pout?"

"Awww, poor boy, I will pick you up one of those loofas on a stick so you never have that trouble again" she said with a wink as she got up from the bed.

"Heartless, that's what you are" he said with a mock frown.

Blowing him a kiss, she threw over her shoulder "I'm taking your SUV so I am not late."

"Fine!" he said flopping back on the pillows before noticing that she was wearing his t-shirt, "wait, that's my shirt so what are you wearing underneath?"

Slowly Brace pulled it up so he could see that she was wearing his underwear, his eyes started to darken in excitement and Brace knew what that meant... if she didn't get out of there now she wasn't going to make her study group. So with a giggle she grabbed the door threw herself out and slammed it behind her, hearing a thump as Lex must have fallen on the floor trying to get to the door but tangled in the sheets.

Heading down the stairs, she hits the unlock button on the SUV, just as her phone went off signally she had a text message.

"YOU ARE GOING TO PAY FOR THAT LATER HON!"

Laughing she responded, "PAY FOR WHAT, I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!"

"YOU KNEW WHAT SEEING YOU WEARING MY UNDERWEAR WOULD DO TO ME!" was his quick reply

"LOL TO BE FAIR EVERYTHING I WEAR DOES THAT TO YOU!"

"TRUE ENOUGH, BUT YOU ARE STILL GOING TO HAVE TO MAKE IT UP TO ME, I GOT SOME BRUISES THAT NEED KISSING FROM FALLING OUT OF BED."

"DON'T WORRY BABY, I WILL KISS ALL THOSE HURTS WHEN I GET HOME! PROMISE!" she responded, putting a kiss emoji at the end.

"YOU CAN START BY MAKING IT UP TO ME NOW AND TELLING ME WHAT THE WRITING AROUND YOUR TATTOO IS!"

"SORRY THAT IS MY LITTLE SECRET" she replied with a little smirk on her lips

"YOU'RE NOT BEING FAIR, AFTER I CALMED DOWN ABOUT YOU LETTING SOME OTHER MAN HANDLE YOUR ASS TO PUT IT THERE, THE LEAST YOU COULD DO IS TELL ME WHAT IT SAYS!" came the huffy reply
