Dear Haemi,

It's been almost a year since I've been back in China, and all I want is to be visiting you this summer like I did the last.

This school year went by fast, faster than any other I've had - soccer, too. Our team didn't do that well this season because two our of key players were out due to injuries.

I, myself, haven't been able to concentrate on soccer much lately either.

My father is beginning to pressure me to start thinking about the company and it's honestly the last thing on my mind.

... But you already know all this.

I still think about you all the time, you know how many times I've been caught at school trying to text or call you.

I even wonder what your two odd friends are up to.

I'm sure they're busy... I can't imagine what it's like to be trainees of such a large and well-known company.

Anyway, I'll talk to you soon.

I know we talk on the phone, send emails, and even video chat... But writing you letters is almost calming for me.

As always, I'm sending you the usual.

Try not to eat them all in one day.

Xoxo,

Luhan

"So what's it like being a trainee?"

"Stupid."

"I hate it."

My brow raised, unsure if I should laugh or be surprised by Kyungsoo and Baekhyun's answers as they both stared at me glumly. I was used to Baekhyun's whining, he had complained about all the work the two had put it even before they auditioned - but Kyungsoo, Kyungsoo had always remained optimistic.

The three of us were seated in my kitchen - we didn't have any other options considering we couldn't go out in public anymore.

Baekhyun and Kyungsoo's faces had officially become known with rumors quickly swirling that the pair would already be set to debut.

It would be a new record, with the shortest amount of training time - but it also meant exhausting the boys further, grueling them into the image of perfection the fans so desperately wished for.

"Do you have any of those candies?" Bacon asked, already digging through the drawers of my kitchen. "The ones that your stranger danger sends you - chances?"

"HIS name is Luhan!" I snapped, reaching up into my cabinet to throw a small bag of Chances at Baekhyun's head.

He winced at the blow, but grinned as he massaged his temples and clutched the bag of sweets protectively to his chest.

"I love these," he gushed. "I never know which flavor I'm going to get."

Kyungsoo groaned as he stood up with his bowl of nachos, complaining as he said, "You eat those so much that I'm practically forced to like them too."

"I do not!" Baekhyun snapped defensively. "I only eat them when Haemi's lover boy sends them in his weird letters."

"HIS name is Luhan!"
