Ahhh this is sooo short!  I've been busy.  Lots of concerts and track meets and of course school blahh.  I have less than 15 days so I hope to write more after school is out.. Hope you enjoy!

p.s. please vote?  I'd love to just get to 10..

“Kara.  Kara?  Hey did you even hear me talking to you?”  I asked her a little annoyed.  She looked back at me just sort of staring into space.  We were at lunch at school.  We were waiting for the bell to ring any minute now.

“Huh?  Did you say something?”  She asked looking at me.

“Yeah,” I told her.  “I was wondering if you could drive me to work.”

“Yeah no problem,” she responded easily.  She looked like she was about to go back into deep thought  “Sorry I was kind of distracted earlier.”

“Mmm, yeah I noticed.  Does it have to do with a certain someone?”  I asked suggestively.

She caught my hint instantly.  “No!”  She responded in a high pitched voice while also taking a slap at me.  I could tell she was lying.

“Admit it you like him.”

“I do not!”  She said again with her high voice.  She is definitely lying.  She only uses that tone when she is hiding something.

“Yeah you do or at least you think he’s attractive.”

“Okay well maybe.  But it always seems that he has girls surrounded by him constantly.  I have no chance,” she told me whimpering slightly.

“Aw that’s not true.  Next time I see him I should put in a good word,” I told her winking.

“No it is okay we are going out for coffee or something later.”

“Or something?”  I questioned her.  Her idea of or something usually included drunken sex with a one night stand type relationship.

“Shut up.  You know what I mean.”

“Sadly I do,” I told her in a sarcastic tone.

“Hey, if you can get some, well, so can I.  I mean I bet he’s really good right?”  She asked lowering her voice.

“Um well…” I started.  “We haven’t really, um you know…” Thinking back to all that Adrian and I have really done, he was so kind and respectful of me and how he treated me.

“No way!”  She whispered softly.

“Yes it’s true.” I confirmed.

“By the looks of the way you two act it seems like you would be having kids already.”

“Um… not really you know I don’t like kids that much,” I told her hesitant.  Kids were definitely not on the agenda at the moment.  No way.  Everyone thinks that they are adorable and what they say is cute but at times it just flat out annoys me!

“That’s what you say now.  It could change in a couple of years,” she replied with a knowing tone.  Sometimes she actually knew what she was saying… yeah right I thought to myself.

“Where did get all of this new found knowledge?”  I asked her.  Normally she was not like this.

“Hey, I’m actually pretty smart you know,” she retorted.  Actually I knew she was too she put forth effort and had a lot of potential to go places.  I just smiled knowingly in return at her.

Kara dropped me off at work after school.  The shift went by pretty fast and not that many people came.  Just before it was time for me to leave I was met with a familiar set of blue eyes.

“Hey!  What are you doing here?”  I asked him as he approached the cash register.

“Well I came here for my frappuccino of course,” he told me smiling at me.

“Was that all you came here for?”  I asked suggestively raising an eyebrow at him.  I really doubt it.  He knew what time my shift ended today.

“Yup.”  He said popping the p of the yup.

“You’re a terrible liar, you know?”  I was smiling at him.  It was hard to try to be mad or annoyed at times.

“Yeah, yeah.  Now make me my frappuccino woman,” he told me smiling.

I went through the routine making the drink for him.  Then I turned to Tanner, “I’m heading out so I’ll see you later.”

“Okay Libby I will see you around then.” He waved at the both of us.

Adrian grabbed my hand as we walked out the door.  “How was your day love?”  He asked me slipping his arm around my waist now.

“Not too bad,” I responded going closer into his arms.  He led me to his car and I was about to open the door when he stopped me and pushed his body up against mine.  He crashed his lips onto mine.  The kiss was breathtaking and I wrapped my legs around his waist.

I broke the kiss and I placed my face in the crook of his neck.  He smelled so good.   I placed a kiss on his collarbone.  Turning to look in his eyes I asked, “How was your day?”

“Good now that I did this,” He responded by kissing me again.  It was short and sweet but it kept me wanting more.  I moaned at him teasing me.

He chuckled.  “I have a surprise for you back at my apartment.”

“What is it?” I asked curiously.

“Now why would I tell you?  It would not be a surprise then would it?”

I sighed. “I guess not.”  He smiled at me.  “Let’s go then.  I know you are impatient.”

He opened the car door for me and he drove back to his apartment.
