"Kingina Pakerson! Hahaha!"

If only a deadly glare could literally kill, Jerald would be dead by now. Unless he'll die laughing first. He's rolling on the floor, clutching his stomach.

Hahaha!"

Or how about if I will just strangle him now?

Hahahaha!"

Ok, for the record, I don't value physical appearance more than character, attitude, and personality. But Jerald just got it all wrong!

Ok, here's what happened.

I haven't seen Maine for the last two days and I'm starting to miss her, to say the least.

Since I have no work today, I visited their drugstore almost every two or three hours to buy something, even if I don't necessarily need them: vitamins, Neozep, razors, plasters, food supplements, sanitary napkin (for my sister Riza in case she needs it when she visits), lozenges for sore throat, cotton, sunscreen, energy drink, and many more (I can't remember some of them), hoping to see Maine.

Heck, even a freaking portable blood pressure monitor even if I my doctor said on my recent physical exam that I'm perfectly healthy.

I could've just asked for her, right?

But Ken, the male pharmacy assistant, is starting to get suspicious. While the other lady (I think she's the other pharmacist Jerald is talking about because I remember her...prominent front teeth) is starting to look at me differently, as if seducing me, even touching my arm when talking to me. It's getting really awkward.

I'm getting hopeless and impatient because I really wanted to know where Maine is or when she'll be back. So I explained to Jerald my dilemma and requested him to go the drugstore to "investigate".

The rest, as you see, is history.

And if he will not stop laughing, he will be history too.

"Hahaha!

I still wanted to strangle Jerald, but I can't stop myself from smiling on that bit of information.

So the next day at exactly five o' clock in the afternoon, I stepped out of my room still concocting a plan on how I'm going to ask Maine out. I was about to go outside when I saw our friend Mark in the living room talking to Jerald.

"Uy Brad, andito ka pala! Long time, no see ah! Musta bagong kasal?"

Alam mo na, after work dapat diretso uwi na."
