Two woman held my arms as they dragged me through more tunnels to somewhere which I had no idea where.
I didn't bother trying to fight, I knew they were to strong for my tiny little body. The only noises that could be heard was the steps of the woman and my knees scraping the floor.
Finally we stopped and I was forced into a chair in a small room with only one light above the table that I sat in front of. They locked my hands into the cuffs on the armrests of the chair, and they left, leaving me alone,
Until The lady that I assumed to be the leader came in front of me and stood there looking down at me. "Little girl, you will answer my questions correctly and you may walk out of here alive, but if you don't" She said bitterly, "Your friends will pay for your mistakes.
A TV flashed on in the corner of the room and it showed Jake and Jay on the ground with two guards in front of them, waiting to punish them.
"Let's begin" she said, snapping my attention back to her.
"How did you find this place?" She asked, I was silent for a second wondering if the truth was the right answer. I saw her pull out a fob and press the button on it, I looked back up to the TV to see Jay kneed in the gut by one guard.
"Ok,ok" I said hastily, "it was on accident."
Jake was slapped in the face.
"Wrong." She implied.
Again and a again I answered the same and more my friends were hurt. Then after I answered for what seemed like the millionth time, she slapped me so hard in the face that the chair was knocked over.
"Lies child LIES!!!" She yelled into my face, I was hit/kicked multiple times after that in the gut, face, anywhere that hurt a lot.
I started to feel a weird burning, coarsing through my veins. Then I closed my eyes trying to block away the pain of the woman's hits in my face, when I heard her scream.
I opened my eyes to see my hands were on, on... fire.
"You, you're an inhuman!" She exclaimed. I was puzzled, the fire wasn't burning my skin I barley heard what she had said to me.
I was hyperventilating.
Quickly I snapped out of it, I looked back down to my hands, they had melted away the cuffs. I got up off the ground, no one else was in the room, but it was burning to the ground.
I run out of the room, and down the hallway until I entered the cell where Jay and Jake were in.
The guards were gone so no one stopped me as I entered the room. I collapsed I front of them, they had never seen me cry before, I had never let my emotions get the best of me before, and for a good reason now that I see what they had unleashed.
I felt Jay's hand wrap me into a hug, I had not relised that the heat had also melted away the cuffs. He ignored the heat coming off of me while he held me in a tight grasp. Soon I started to calm down, but the fire was still burning the hallways around us.
"J-Jay, am I a-a monster?" I manage to say between sobs I looked up at him, To see his face.
"No Deedee, your not a monster." He said softly to me. "Look at me Jay, I think that the fire came from me, I am a monster a-a freak."
"No Diana you are not a freak nor a monster, you are and have always been the opisite of one."
"Why, how? Why does this happen Jay, why?" I ask him, he hesitates and answers with the story of my parents death, my tears come down rapidly now, I didn't even notice when Jake pulled me into his lap.
"Diana, listen to me." Jake says, "don't you dare go on thinking that you are a monster that killed your parent's. You couldn't have known that you had those powers so you couldn't control them" (crappy line)
That calmed me down a little, he picked me up and they both ran down the halls dodgeing the debri falling around us, I countinued to cry as we ran down the hallways.
"Diana, you need to calm down or the place is gonna come down on top of us" Jay tells me. I look around us, he was right. Smoke filled the tunnels, you could barley see through the ashes falling everywhere.
"I'll try" I studder. I tried too, but the emotions keeped on pushing down my mental walls that were supposed to hold them.
"Diana, you need to stop the fire now!" Jake yells, and I here a crash up ahead, I look up to see a bunch of debris blocking our path.
We were trapped, and the enemy could be heard not far behind.
