We looked around us for some type of escape from the approaching enemy. There, on the left side of the hallway was a door.

Jay rushes ahead of me with Diana in his arms, i'm still a little shocked by her new found powers, but hell knows what Diana is feeling right now. I mean, come on! The girl just found out that her parents death's were her fault! And there isn't that much words to comfort someone in a problem like that.

As we enter I relised that it wasn't just an ordinary room, it was twice as big as the High Schoolers gym! We were on a catwalk right above some humongous barrles of green acid, steam was rising above it, adding heat to the room, it didn't it didn't help so much with the smoke infested hallways, but I was making it.

I grab a long metal bar and placed it infrount of the door to keep the freaky German ladies out. "That should stall them." I said turning back to Jay, who was just now setting Diana down.

I watched her breaths becoming more sharp and faster by the second, making the fire grow bigger and bigger. But other wise the smoke and fire didn't even mark her, 'must be the special ability'I thought while walking towards her.

"Dee-dee," I spoke softly to her, "Just take in deep breaths, and try to calm down. Maybe that could help with the fire." She nodded in reply, and I could see the breaths becoming longer each time her chest rose and fell.

I walked over to Jay, who was looking at a high tech map of the building. "Where did you find that?" I asked him, looking over his shoulder. "On the wall." He replies, not looking up.

I look back down at the barrels of acid, and noticed something writen on it. "Hey Jay, can you read that? The writing on the side of the huge barrel?" I asked him. "It says, Warning Danger: Hydrogen peroxide and acetic acid. "

"Wait, Hydrogen peroxide and acetic acid?" I asked him, scared out of my mind.

"Ya that's what I said, something wrong?" He answerd with another question.

"Yes, it is definetly wrong, couse if those 2 chemicals are mixed, and added with fire, the place will go-" but I was cut off by Diana who had finally gained a little control with her emotions, "Boom, it'll go boom."

Not a second later, a piece of debri that was on fire dropped into one pool of acid. It made a little explosion that shook the building. "Jay find us a way out quick, before this place goes boom." I yell in Jay's direction.

I then turn to Diana, who was still sitting on the ground, "Diana, I need you to somehow control the fire, can you do that?"

"I can barley control myself right now! How do you expect me to control the fire, that I had no idea that I could summon until now!"

"Good point." I said re-thinking my plan. "What about you just do what you are doing then, huh?"

"Not like there's anything else for me to do" she mumbled. When I ran off back to Jay, I heard her yell behind me, "And who in the world left you in charge!"

"Come on, don't you trust me?" I yell back at her with a grin, but was met with a disaproving look, "Aw come on, it was only one time!" I said annoyed, but she only keeped on going on with the disaproving look, "Okay, mabey 4 times" I add on.

I keep on running towards Jay when more debri fell into another barrel. "I found a way out! But we have to move quick, the ceiling isn't going to hold up for much longer!"

I look up towards the ceiling, to see that he was right, some beams were missing, and the fire was eating away the wood.

I run back to Diana, and scopped her up, bridal style, and followed Jay down the stairs and to a door.
