GAME VERSE

April Fool's Day--Red's favorite holiday. He didn't care that it technically wasn't a holiday, it was fun to prank people, and it was kinda funny to see them all blame Gold. After all, why would anyone as quiet and serious as Red do something as immature as that? (He always laughed at the "serious" part. Sure, he seemed serious, but he actually had the maturaty of a 7 year old.) The truth was, next to Gold, he was the biggest prankster out of the Dexholders. (You can imagine being the Elite 4, having to deal with both Champion's antics).

Sometimes though, his pranks backfire. For example, the time he switched around all the tiles in the Viridian Gym when Green was out on some business. (Once he came back, the Gym Leader had chased his boyfriend around for a while, and dragged him back to the Gym, fuming mad.) Also, the one time Red and Gold stole Ruby's makeup, and replaced it with glue and coloring. (They finally found out what Ruby's threat of death by hairdryer really meant...) Then, there was that one time when he bribed Blue to hack and change all of White's passwords. Least to say that she was not impressed.

"Red, you are so fucking dead!!" Well, shit. Red was currently sprinting though the trees of the Viridian Forest, trying to avoid getting positively murdered by Leaf. His latest prank, to put it simply, involved hair dye, a shower head, and a very pissed off Leaf. Dodging roots and trees, he panicked, hearing the former brunet gaining on him. Basically, this April Fool's Day, he decided to go after someone he never did before--Leaf. He had always thought that she would kill him and the crimson eyed teen was disappointed to find that his hunch had been right. Lucky him. 

Ahead, Red saw a tree. More specifically, a tall tree. A tall tree with low hanging branches. The Champion quickly scrambled up the tree, just in time for Leaf to burst into the clearing. "Red! Where the fuck are you?!" Red's breath hitched, trying not the breathe, fearing to be heard. "Red?" Leaf scanned the trees. "Get you ass over here!" The Champion held his breath when Leaf's eyes passed over him, but silently exhaled when she just gazed past. After a while, Leaf got bored, and walked away, grumbling. 

Maybe he'd better lie low for a bit...
