"Character A's best friend rigs the Secret Santa, because they know Character A has a crush on Character B"

Prompt from: http://fanficy-prompts.tumblr.com/

Blue was way too smart sometimes.

Why is that, you ask? Well...

The winter spirit was in the air--carols were played in supermarkets and radio stations alike, and the smell of baked goods wafted out of windows and into the glistening white streets. Many houses were strung with lights, and others were seen with candles glowing in the windows.

In celebration of said winter spirit, Blue decided that it was "about damn time" the Dexholders had another meet up, and made plans for everyone to come to Kanto. Why? A Secret Santa.

"I still don't see why we're doing this." Green huffed, as he walked though Blue's door, shaking off snow. Blue had enlisted the help of her fellow Kanto Dexholders for her plans. "It's not really our business..." Blue rolls her eyes. Trust Green to be the moodkiller. Red plopped down on her couch next to where Green . "I agree. Will this even work?" Yellow popped her head into the living room from the hallway.

"Hi Red, Green! What are you doing here?"

"Blue here decided stick her pesky nose where it's not wanted again--"

"Hey!"

"--And wanted to lay matchmaker. She then decided it was somehow our business to help her."

Her master plan (hopefully) had the end result of getting her little brother a boyfriend--a very specific golden eyed boyfriend, in fact. Ever since the fiasco in Johto happened (the thought of Pryce as the Masked Man still makes her shudder), she'd been watching the two Johto boys make eyes at each other, and after waiting and watching from afar, it was apparent that neither Silver or Gold was going to make a move. It was so obvious that the two Johtonians liked each other, with the excessive staring and adorable yet disgusting amount of flirting, that Blue was honestly baffled by how oblivious the two were. (That was saying something, considering that she's known Red for a couple of years now...) The Evolver just about had enough of this bullshit, and wanted to give the metal named boys a little nudge in the right direction. (Also, if her plan does succeed, it should be pretty interesting...)

Gathering the other Kanto trainers in a rough circle, she explained her plan. At first, the other Dexholders were reluctant to help, but with a little...let's say, persuasion (that might or might not of involved some blackmail), Yellow, Red, and Green all, though reluctantly, agreed to help. Once they planned and organized everything, from how the gift exchange was going to work to how her underlying plan was to be executed. By the end of the day, the plan was set and Blue was ready.

Crystal didn't know why she was there. She was smart enough to see the gleam in her Senior's eyes as some crazy scheme of Blue's (and Crystal knew what it was, due to the fact that Blue had asked her to help, along with the older Dexholders), yet she still felt entitled to come. Sure, she might not approve of Blue's methods, but the Catcher had to admit that the whole situation with Gold and Silver was getting out of hand. The plan was for whoever drew Gold and Silver's names to swap with the opposing metal named boy. So now, here she was, sitting in a room with all the other Dexholders, passing a hat around with the others' names. Personally, Crystal doubted that plan, knowing full well how mutually stubborn the two were in terms of admitting their attractions and/or having any kind of intimate interaction. She doubted with all her being that convincing either of them to trade would be a hell on it's own, but she agreed to the plan. Crystal grabbed the hat from Platinum, who was on her right and currently frowning at her paper, and put her hand in the hat. She took out a slip of paper with a name written in a scrawly handwriting.
